It was my first night of the week staying at Wesley's and we were all having a movie night. Keaton and Wes were on either end of the couch, and I was in the middle if them. Drew was on the floor.

"Sooo... What next?" Keaton asked as we finished The Perks Of Being A Wallflower. We ha already watched Ferris Bueller's Day Off, my all time favorite movie.

"Horror time!" Drew cheered, standing up and grabbing The Possession.

Great.

"Wes..." I trailed off.

"It's okay Charlie, I'll be right here." He said, rubbing my back.

Once the movie started, I placed my legs in Keaton's lap, and my head in Wes's. I was terrified, and jumping every 5 minutes. Halfway through the movie I decided I needed to pee. Partially just to get out of that room.

"Wes?" I whispered.

"Yeah?" He answered.

"I gotta pee." I said.

"Then go." He chuckled quietly.

"Will you come with me?"

"Just go babe, it's alright."

"Please?" I begged, pouting my lip and making myself tear up just a bit.

"Fine." He huffed playfully.

"I'm gonna take this baby to the bathroom quick guys." He said, laughing a bit.

"I am not a baby." I said.

"Yes you are... But you're my baby." He smiled. Smooth Mr. Stromberg. Smooth.

When we got to the bathroom, I instructed Wes to stay right outside the door.

"I'll wait right here babe, just go." He chuckled at my childishness in this moment.

I pecked his lips quickly then close the door. After I had finished and washed my hands, I opened the door to see nothing. No wesley.

Great.

"Wes?" I called quietly.

"Wesley?" I repeated.

"Wesley this isn't funny." I said a little louder. And just in that moment, I was tackled in the grip of 2 big hairy arms. I screamed and began to tear up a little out of terror and shock.

"Charlie. Charlotte, it's okay." I heard Wes say sweetly. He was my 'attacker'? Really?!

"Wes! You asshole!" I said, slapping his chest.

"Hey, hey, hey. I'm sorry." He said.

"Whatever." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm sorry babe. You were supposed to laugh afterwards, not be mad." He said wrapping me into a tight hug. Looking over Wesley's shoulder, I saw Drew with a large cup of ice water with his pointer finger up to his lips in a shushing position. This was going to be good.

"Get him." I mouthed to Drew, careful not to let any sounds escape my lips.

I leaned up to Wes's ear, still hugging him, to whisper something to him.

"And I was going to thank you later for coming with me..." I smirked, knowning what this would do to him.

"I said I was sorry." He whispered back. "Do I still get that thank you?" He chuckled softly after a few moments.

"Nope. Should have thought about that before." I giggled. He huffed. I looked over his shoulder once more an saw Drew right behind Wesley with the ice water.

"3...2...1!" I mouthed, stepping out of his grip at 1.

"What the fuck?!" Wes yelled as he was soaked with freezing cold water. I giggled.

"You! You knew about this!" He playfully yelled at me.

"It was all Drew! I swear!" I said, raising my hands in defense and pointing to Drew.

"But you didn't stop him." He said, waking slowly towards me.

"Karma's a bitch!" I said to him.

"Oh yeah?" He asked mysterious.

Then I was swept up in his arms and thrown over his shoulder as he turned the shower on completely cold.

"Wes! No!" I warned, smacking his butt.

"Huh? What's that Charie? You want to take a cold shower? With all your clothes on?" He asked.

"Wes please!" I begged.

"I'm going, I'm going." He said, placing me under the cold streams of water. Before he walked away, I grabbed his arm and pulled him in with me. I giggled as he stood under the water in shock.

"You're gonna get it!" He laughed, tickling me.

"K-Keaton! Dr-Drew!" I called. Luckily Laraine was at work, or she would surely be mad about what was happening.

Nobody came... Cool. What great friends I have.

"Truce! Truce!" I yelled. Wes stopped tickling me and shut the water off.

"Truce." He said, shaking my hand. He leaned down to kiss me, but I pulled away.

"Nope." I said, popping the "p".

"Fine. Then none of this either." He said, exaggerating the word "this" as he pulled his soaked shirt over his head and dropped it on the floor of the shower.

"F-fine." I stuttered, looking away to keep myself from caving. He placed his finger under my chin to make me look at his abs. I bit my lip and he laughed.

Next he pulled his jeans down, leaving him in just his boxers. Oh lord.

"Fine! I cave!" I said, leaning up to kiss his lips.

"I knew you would." He smirked at his accomplishment.

"Whatever Stromberg." I said, rolling my eyes playfully and stepping out of the shower. We both got dry clothes on, and laid down in Wes's bed, finished with the movie night.

"So... That thank you...?" Wes asked slyly.

"Nope." I smirked, poking his nose lightly.

"Fine." He chuckled. Then we both fell asleep in each other's arms.

"Get back here bitch!" He called. I was running, getting nowhere, but running for my life.

"You're worthless! I need to remind you that!" He yelled again.

"Just stop!" I screamed. I was then stuck. I couldn't move my legs. I couldn't run anymore. I was helpless.

"Gotcha you slut!" He said. "I'm gonna kill you, you screwed up bitch!" He said. He always yelled.

"No! Please, no!" I yelled.

"Charlie? Charlotte, it's okay." I heard a farmiliar voice that I associated with safety. Wes.

***

My eyes fluttered open to see Wesley leaning over me.

"Hey, you alright?" He asked me.

"Y-yeah. Just a uh, nightmare. That's all." I stuttered out.

"I knew I shouldn't har made you watch that movie." He said,

"No Wes. It wasn't that." I mumbled.

"Then what was it Charlie?" He asked, stroking my hair and forehead.

"My dad..." I muttered. He tensed up and pulled me into a tight hug.

"Don't worry about that Charlie. I'll protect you. Always." He said.

I fell back to sleep in Wes's arms. The only place that I felt truly safe.
