Charlotte's POV:

Abigail's weight has peaked at a solid 4 pounds, which is acceptable for her to come home. She is absolutely perfect. From her dimples to her bright blue eyes, she's wonderful.

Wes is an amazing father so far. He changes her, plays with her, and sings to her, which I find adorable.

I was in the bathroom getting dressed to finally leave the hospital, and when I opened the door, I heard the faint lull of a voice.

I slowly crept out of the bathroom, to find Wesley cradling Abigail as he sang "Baby I Love Your Way" to her. After finished, he kissed her forehead lightly, saying, "Your mommy loves that song. I thought you would too. I love you Abigail Macy, with all my heart." She smiled up at him.

"She loves you Wes." I smiled, walking fully into the room. He smiled up at me, and I sat on his leg, wrapping my arm around his neck. We just sat in this position for a while, not saying a word, doing nothing but look down at our little baby, until the nurse came in.

"Alright, you guys are all set to take baby home." She smiled.

"Thank you." I said, and Wesley nodded his thanks to her. I carried Abigail, and Wes grabbed the balloons and stuffed animals, and we drove home. I had never seen Wesley so careful about driving. His biggest pet peeve is when people stop at yellow lights. Well, he stopped at 3. He did under the speed limit the whole ride home, and it melted my heart to see how much he cares about her.

When we got home, Wes took Abigail and the car seat in, and I grabbed the balloons and other assorted things. As Wes opened the door, a hushed "Welcome home!" Was called. We stepped into our house to see Kenny, Kyle, Drew and Keaton of course, Breezie, Laraine, Brent, Carly, Rexx, Kory, and a bunch of other people I didn't know.

"Hey guys!" Wes yelled, luckily Abigail was already awake. I waved as I put down the things I was holding.

"Where's the baby?" Breezie asked. Wes set down the car seat and waved her over. He took Abigail out and Breezie "Awwed."

"Can I hold her?" She asked me.

"Of course. She's your niece." I smiled. After she had held Abigail, Kenny held her, then Kyle, followed by pretty much everybody else at the "Welcome home" party.

At 6:00, Abigail started to get cranky, so everybody left to give her some space. All the people were probably overwhelming for her being so little.

"Are you hungry, Abigail?" I asked her sweetly, even though I already knew the answer... And she couldn't answer me.

"Can you make her a bottle Wes?" I asked, and he got up to fix her dinner.

"Do you want to feed her?" I asked him, and he smiled and nodded. As she ate, he hummed and it soothed the both of us, soon falling asleep on Wesley. He laid Abigail down in her bassinet, then carried me up to our bed. I woke up slightly when he picked me up, and nuzzled my head into his neck. I felt him chuckle and then we fell asleep.

The next thing I knew, I was being awoken by loud cries and I jumped up to tend to my baby.

"Hey, hey, hey. It's alright baby." I cooed. I changed her diaper, and suddenly, all was right in the world. She fell back asleep... Until a half hour later. Wes woke up this time, and she just wanted to be rocked back to sleep. This went on all night. Every hour or so, Abigail woke up for various reasons. Whether she was hungry, or needed a diaper change, or just fussy, either Wes or I got up to tend to her every whim.

Finally she woke up for the last time at 6:00 am sharp. She was wide awake. Wes and I however, were not. The whole day was rough, but we made it through with the help of the guys. The next night was the same, and already running on little sleep, was even worse.

"Charlie, it's your turn." Wes shook me.

"No Wes, it's your turn." I mumbled, rolling over.

"Whatever." He said angrily, stomping into the nursery. I got up to help him, since I knew he was exhausted. When I walked through the doorway, he was holding Abigail.

"Just shut up." He groaned. When she continued to cry, he placed her back in her crib and ran his fingers through his bed head. She just cried louder, so he picked her up once again.

"Wes, let me have her." I said, taking her from his arms.

"Just get her to shut up." He said, stomping back to our bedroom. I was dumbfounded. Wesley had been so good to Abigail, why was he being such a dick?

After I calmed her down an laid her back in her crib of the night, I went back to our bedroom. Wes was sitting on the edge of the bed with his head in his hands. I climbed back into bed, and he just sat there.

"She's a baby Wes. She cries, that's what babies do." I said after a few minutes.

"I can't do this. This is too much right now." He said, then stood up and got dressed.

"Where are you going Wes?" I asked.

" I just need to get out." He replied, and left. He left me and his baby. I stayed on the bed, just crying the rest of the night. He just up and left his family. What was he thinking?!
