Charlotte's POV:

"Wes..." I said.

Should I give him another chance? Giving into him would show that I'm weak. I need to keep my wall up, I can't have him thinking he can be so terrible to me. But I love Wes. This is just way too hard.

He stared at me, this sad look on his face.

"I need time Wes. I'm sorry." I said, not looking him in the eyes. This may seem like just a little fight to somebody else. But if you knew what I've never told anybody, you would understand.

"Okay. I love you Charlie. I'm really sorry about what happened. Just remember, I'll always love you, and I could wait forever for you. I would wait forever for you." And with that he kissed my cheek and walked out. I went to my trim and threw myself onto my bed. What did I just do?! I just have up the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Just then, my phone buzzed, alerting me I had a text message. I checked it, seeing it was from Keaton. He probably wanted to know what happened with Wes.

From: Keaty-Cat

Hey Charlie. Wanna come over and talk? Wes told me what happened. Don't worry, he isn't here.

To: Keaty-Cat

Sure. I'll be over in 10.

I slipped on my flip flops and walked along the all too farmiliar path to the Stromberg house. I knocked on the door, and Keaton answered. He pulled me into a tight hug, whispering that everything will be alright. He pulled me up to his room, and we both sat on his bed.

"I'm so sorry Charlie." He said, rubbing my hand.

"It's not your fault Keats." I said quietly.

"Are you ever going to get back together with him?" He asked.

"I don't know. Maybe, but I need time. Time to think about what he did. This may seem silly to you, but it's not to me." I answered.

Keaton's POV:

"Nothing's silly if it upsets you." I said to Charlie, who now had red rimmed eyes.

"Thank you Keaton. For being such a good friend." She said. And that's all I'll ever be to her. A friend. A good friend, but just a friend. This killed me inside. I don't know what came over me, but the next thing I knew, I was leaning into Charlotte's lips. She didn't move, but she just let me kiss her.

A sudden bang pulled me from my dream. Well, it was reality but it seemed like a dream to me. I looked to my doorway, to see Wesley with bleeding knuckles, and my door with a large hole in it.

"Wes... I-" I studdered.

"What the fuck dude?! You're supposed to be my brother!" He screamed.

"And you, Charlotte. I just told you I would wait foreve for you if I had to, and not but 10 minutes later you're kissing my brother?! My own brother?! I cried in front of you Charlie! I don't cry because I'm strong! Ha. Ha. Well baby, you broke me down." He started crying again, which made Charlie begin to cry also.

"Wes! I didn't kiss him!" He sobbed. Even my eyes were brimming with tears.

"Whatever." He said, then stormed off. I heard him grab his car keys, and slam the front door. His car stared and he zoomed off. Charlie stood up and freaked out, punching my chest with the little might she had, soon collapsing into me.

"I'm sorry Charlotte. I really am." I began to finally let go of the tears I had been holding in.

"He's going to get hurt Keaton! We need to find him!" He yelled. I grabbed her hand and my car keys and we went on search for Wesley.

As we were driving past the skate park, a possible hideout for Wes, 3 cop cars and an ambulance passed us.

"Wesley!" Charlie sobbed.

Oh-no. Wes!
