Savitri felt happy for the love and care she got from her husband and mother in law, her maids both chandrika and maitri were making her ready like a pretty doll.
She wore a red lehenga that bought for her personally by him, her eyes were smeared with black khol, a red lipstick, she wore green bangles and a small green bindi making her look like a apsara.
Her hands were coated with aalta so was her feet, she looked in the mirror and smiled her eyes got smaller and cheeks looked chubby making her look cute and beautiful both maitri and chandrika were mesmerized with her beauty.
She got up and looked at the beautiful baby bump of her nine months pregnancy, moving out of her room she didn't look not less than a queen.
Moving down the stairs her payal made beautiful sound, whole haveli was decorated with white and red roses, listening to the sound of her anklet's ghungroo aaditya who was attending the guest turned towards her.
Her each step made people turn their attention at her, she looked truly mesmerizing Aaditya with a beautiful and cheeky smile looked at his wife with love and held his hand out for her.
Looking at his hand savitri took it and came down the three stairs, standing beside each other both of them complimented each other dressed in a black kurta whose first two buttons were open aaditya looked truly handsome.
The whole haveli was decorated for the massive eve of their baby shower, the whole environment was filled with a festive mood, there were such huge list of guest that attended the baby shower.
Taking the soon mother to be with him, aaditya made her sit on the golden jhula that was decorated with white roses adding to the beauty of it, sitting at the jhula savitri smiled , she felt happy and excited for all the custom she saw happening with other women was finally happening to her.
Her mother in law came to her with a puja thaal, swinging the thal in a circular motion around savitri she first did the rasam of aarti to protect her daughter in law and grand child to protect from evil eyes.
Slowly as the night proceeds, women came to savitri wishing her and her child a healthy and happy journey, the music and dance were all making the environment more cheerful, the grand baby shower of thakurs marked the history in the village showing there wealth and power too.
Chandini who was now four months pregnant, her baby bump started to show on, she looked at savitri with a jealous gaze, living in the haveli she witness the love Sarkaar showered on his wife, the cold and distant man he was only showed his soft corner of heart to her, savitri his wife.
She wanted to feel the closeness and warmth of him and his love , she knew she is being greedy and demanding more than her limits , she was just asking for a small part of his heart she was ready to share his love with savitri,heart wants what it wants and people bow down on there knees in front of this heart.
Her love for him grew each day as she saw him loving his wife, taking care of his child, he also took care of her child, asking her from time to time about her needs and cravings as he did with savitri, she mistook his kindness as his love.
She wanted sarkaar and she knowing savitri leaving after her delivery was more than happy, if she gave birth to her child the missing love and Hollowness caused by savitri's absence and his child absence she was going to fulfill.
She will be the best wife and mother and daughter in law for her man as she thought, she noticed closely every thing of savitri and started to copy her, how savitri spoke, how she walked, how she wore her clothes every minute details she noticed and tried becoming a copy of her, which she thought will be easier way to create a space in his heart.
As the event got wild with the night approaches, savitri felt sleepy considering her schedule aaditya took her in their bedroom and helped her taking out the heavy jewellery and clothes he helped her to dress in her night suit and as soon as savitri hit bed she dozed off.
Kissing her forehead and then cressing her tummy he said good night to both the mother and child, smiling he look at her sleeping figure he bend to her tummy whispering to his child
"Aap nahi jante hum aapse milne ke liye kitne bechain hai, apko hatho mai lena chahte jld hi aaye bahar hmari jaan "
Saying a last good night to his child he tucked her with a blanket making sure she is comfortable he moved towards the study where all the servants of the house was waiting for him.
Reaching his study he appreciated his staff for their commendable work today, taking out money and gifts he prepared for them from his drawer he rewarded every one, getting there rewards each servant move out of the study with a happy face.
As everyone moved out, leaving him alone chandini stood there, feeling hurt from him treating her like a maid, she hugged him from behind while her tears flowed out of her eyes in anger she wanted to express, surprised Aaditya jerked her away feeling the unknown touch and smell that was not of savitri making her fall on her stomach while her stomach hit with the sharp edge of the table.
She screamed in pain and agony, her body felt a sudden pain that made her feel like her stomach being teared apart, horrifying the scene in front of aaditya was truly horrifying.
He saw chandini's pale yellow saree drenched in her blood she screamed clutching her stomach tears continuously fell out of her eyes, chandini sat there in pool of her blood.
Suddenly the doors of study opened, entered savitri and her mother in law with there servant looked at the hurt chandini and aaditya who was frozen on his place.
Savitri went towards chandini followed by her mother in law who fainted because of pain, slouching down savitri took the fainted chandini in her embrace patting her cheeks she tried to wake her up.
Her mother in law ordered maitri to call shayam to take out the car to rush to the hospital, a worried shyam came inside the study and picked chandini up taking her away to his car, while aaditya watched everything unfold in front of him, but he stood frozen on his place not able to move or do anything.
Savitri went to her husband and patted him taking him out of his trance, scared aaditya look at his wife with wide eyes with quivering voice he asked her for the validation he needed to hear,
"Sab thik ho jayega na savitri?"
"Pata nahi hume, pr aap ishwar bat bharosa rakhe sb theek ho jayega "
Saying this heavily pregnant savitri took aaditya with him in the car and they all rushed to the hospital worried for chandini and her child.
