??? POV

I was on my first mission, assigned by Dreykov and Madame B. I was to supervise the transfer of new girls to the Red Room. Nothing special, we weren't expecting a fight, but you have to start somewhere. After all, it was only my first mission.

Moments after those Dreykov morons delivered the last girl, I heard a bang, then a single shot.

Something is wrong.

I opened the door to the room and ordered the guard to go get Ivan.

"What's wrong Natalia?" my coworker - Ivan, asked.

"Did you hear that bang?" I asked.

"The guys probably knocked over some barrel."

"And the shot?" I asked.

"The gun, sometimes it goes off by itself, that's nothing," he replied.

"Something doesn't feel right here. Stay with the girls, and I'll make sure that it's nothing."

He nodded.

I left the room and heard more shots. I pulled out my gun and with it in my hand, I continued walking, looking around every room. On my way, I noticed six defeated people on the ground. I swallowed hard.

We have an intruder here and he defeated six of us, this person must be good, but not better than me.

I continued walking and I noticed one of ours stuck to the wall with a spiderweb.

What it is? Do we have a big spider here?

A slight fear gripped me.

I heard a burst from a machine gun. I immediately turned around and ran towards the room with the girls.

When I came around the last corner, I noticed someone in a red and blue suit with a red spider on his back. He was about to grab the door handle to the girls' room, but I got ahead of him and pulled the trigger, hitting him in the lower abdomen.

Y/n POV

I grabbed myself where I was shot and quickly turned around.

I got hit by a bullet, but how, why didn't my spider sense work?

After turning around, I noticed that the one shooting at me was the redhead.

I raised one hand in surrender. While I kept my other hand on my injury.

The girl kept the gun pointed at me and looked into my eyes, or rather into my mask.

"I didn't come to hurt you, I just want to save you and these girls," I said.

"That's funny because it turns out I don't need saving," she replied with a slight smile.

God her voice and that slight smile. Man, what are you thinking now? She's going to kill you and you're admiring her voice. If her voice is going to be the last thing I hear before I die, then I can die happy. Don't I have some kind of split personality? Because sometimes I feel that way. Both of you, focus!

"Hello, can you hear me?" she asked. My mental argument must have gone on a little too long.

"Yeah, I can hear you, loud and clear," I replied.

"Then answer my question," she demanded.

"What question?" I asked, not remembering her asking me one.

She rolled her eyes.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?"

"I'm Spider-Man and as I said at the beginning I came to free you and these girls," I answered.
