RWBY was in shock to see what Rodrick did. First they saw them fighting her as she was swinging her weapon around. Ruby was in tears when she saw her son being held and stabbed in the stomach. But it all changed when he started screaming and they saw waves of yellow magic coming out of his voice. Now they see the lady that try to kill them in a statue like state where her face is being covered by her hands. Not only that but yellow flame started to emit from her face and through her hands. Next thing they saw him waking up with the help of his friends and saying that he felt great and everything. It was like the pain immediately went away and not only that but they saw Shaun looking afraid. Ozpin and goodwitch so somewhat similar behavior when they bought the other one. Right now Ruby is coming down seeing that her son is okay, but they're still confused and a bit worried about him.

Yang: wow, I never knew that your son could do that

Ruby: well yeah, but I wasn't aware of him getting a new spell

Weiss: I think we all weren't. Ozpin, was there something you didn't tell us

Ozpin: I was afraid that you might ask that

Blake: what. What happened?

Ozpin: when your kid was in that underground world. There was a knight that was looking for them and was hunting them

Weiss: a knight? Wait I think I know what you're talking about. It's the one they met at the Grand lift of the academy

Ozpin: well yeah even though we've never witnessed that part. But your son did something

Ruby: what did he do

Ozpin: this isn't the first time he did this

Yang: what do you mean?

Goodwitch: he was that before by that knight that you mentioned. we were scared that we thought he would die, but he didn't. Instead we saw him grab a hold of his head and shoot those yellow flames into him with his eyes. And what we're looking at right now is the exact same state that Rodrick did

Ruby: so he's done this before

Ozpin: yes and it sort of scares us

Weiss: why?

Ozpin: because what Blake's son said. He said it felt wrong

Blake: it felt wrong? What does he mean?

Goodwitch: we don't know but, we figured he means that this is not right. We don't know what's happening to your son but he also said that he could have sworn that he saw him cast his spell without a seal

Ruby: without a seal?

Blake: but that can't be. My son said that you need a seal in order to cast incantation magic

Ozpin: well that's true but he said that he saw him do that without a seal. Which means that something is not right with him

Ruby: but my son looks fine

Ozpin: that's what we all think. In reality wise, what is Rodrick becoming and believe me on this one. But for a split second I could have sworn that his eyes were yellow instead of silver

Ruby: his eyes weren't silver

Ozpin: well they are now. But for a split second they weren't

Yang: okay this is quite creepy

Goodwitch: you could say that again

They all were in thought about what Ruby's son is doing. It's unnatural for him to do such a thing that would scare Blake's son. Although it is true that he does look fine in everything, but that's what they think. There's something wrong with him and not only that. They also noticed that he's been using that spell ever since Stella gave it to him. From there he never bothers on trying other spells that he has in possession. So they believe that it has something to do with that particular magic. If that's the case, then Shaun could be right about this.
