Nobody's POV

Toni was upstairs packing for her trip to Baltimore with her siblings. She leaves close to midnight with Tamar, they're taking the jet down, and she's packing last minute, like always. The kids are around the house doing whatever they're doing, while Janet is in the kitchen cleaning up a bit. Eissa played fetch in the backyard with the three dogs.

The tennis ball fell in the water and he tried to get it with a stick but fell in. "Ahhh momma!" Eissa screamed for help as he tried to stay above water. Janet rushed to the back door and saw her son in the water.

"Oh my god." She immediately jumped in the water, holding her son up. He coughed while she wiped his face. "What happened?!"Janet slightly raised her voice, she's not mad at him, she's just a bit scared. If she wasn't downstairs, things could've gone wrong.

Really wrong!

"The ball..." He coughed and she placed him on the concrete. She got out of her pool and pat his back.

"Baby! Toni!" She called for her wife who came rushing to their aid. She walked outside and saw the two of them soaking wet.

"What happened?"

"I still don't know... he almost drowned." Janet spoke while squeezing her hair rid of water.

"Eissa what happened baby?" Toni asked.

"I tried, I tried to get the ball." He let out through breaths while wiping his face. "And then I fell." He shrugged like it was nothing.

"Eissa you can't swim."

"I didn't mean to fall mommy."

"I know that baby, the dogs can swim to they can get their ball by themselves. You can baby, that's very dangerous, you could've drowned."

"I'm sorry, I was trying to help the dogs." Eissa softly said while putting his head down. He wiped his eyes and sniffled.

"Baby don't cry, we're not mad at you."

"Right, you just have to be more careful." Toni said as she grabbed two towels from the shed. She handed one to Janet and the other to Eissa.

"Okay, I won't do it again."

"I bet."

"That was scary, thank you for saving me Momma."

"You're welcome baby." They walked into the house and headed upstairs. Toni walked into Eissa's room with him and ran a warm bath for him.

"I'm cold." He shivered and Toni chuckled.

"I know." Toni took off his clothes and hung them up to dry. He climbed in the tub and sighed.

"It's warm."

"Is it too warm?"

"No."

"Okay, I'm gonna go check on momma, I'll be back." Eissa nodded as Toni walked out of his bathroom and room. She walked to the room that she shared with her wife and saw her entering the bathroom.

"I can't believe that happened."

"Me either, he's in the tub now."

"Mmhmm, and you know my phone was in my pocket?"

"Really?"

"Yes, now I need a new one."

"I'll buy you one today." Janet widely smiled.

"Really?"

"Yes, you know daddy got you." Janet burst out laughing.

"I'm going in the shower." Toni nodded and kissed Janet's cheek. She walked back to Eissa's room and into the bathroom.
