flashback:

"it's a baby girl," the nurse announced softly, her eyes warm and bright. taehyung felt a wave of relief wash over him, his chest loosening as he finally let out the breath he'd been holding. he glanced over at bogum, who was already on his feet, looking like he might burst with joy.

bogum's face was glowing with happiness, and without a word, he wrapped taehyung in a tight, grateful hug.

taehyung hugged him back, patting his shoulder, sharing in the overwhelming happiness of the moment. "congratulations, dad," he murmured with a laugh, though his own eyes were already misting up.

together, they headed towards bora's room, both of them nearly bursting with excitement. taehyung's heart was beating fast, and his hands shook slightly as they reached the door. he hadn't even seen the baby yet, but the news alone had him choked up with emotion.

he was so deeply moved, so happy for his friends, that tears were threatening to spill over.

before he could follow bogum inside, the nurse approached him with a small paper bag. "these are the prescribed medications for mr. park," she said with a kind smile.

taehyung nodded, accepting them and offering a quiet "thank you." he decided he would pick them up after seeing the baby, after sharing in this beautiful moment with bogum and bora.

he entered the room, heart swelling as he took in the scene in front of him. bora lay on the hospital bed, her face tired yet glowing, holding the tiny bundle wrapped in a soft pink towel.

bogum was beside her, a mixture of awe and pride on his face. taehyung felt his chest tighten, overwhelmed by the sight of this perfect little family.

bora looked up and spotted him, her tired smile brightening. "taehyung, come look at her," she whispered, her voice filled with wonder. with gentle care, she tilted the baby slightly towards him so he could see her face.

taehyung's breath caught as he looked at the newborn for the first time. she was so small, her cheeks a soft pink, her tiny nose and chin so delicate.

her little fingers were curled into a fist, and her eyes were still closed, as if she was too new to this world to even open them yet. he couldn't help but coo, feeling his heart melt.

"she's... she's beautiful," he said, his voice thick with emotion. his gaze stayed on the baby as bogum carefully lifted her and brought her over to taehyung, wrapping her gently in his arms.

taehyung hesitated, his hands trembling slightly as he held her close. he placed a soft kiss on her forehead, his heart swelling with love for this little life that had just entered the world.
