Slowly, all of what was left of the 100 began dispersing into the woods. I made my way back to Harper who was standing close to Finn, who was carrying Ravens stretcher. Exiting the camp harper had to part from me as she would be upfront leading us, with the guard. "You okay?" I ask Raven who looks like hell.
"Better than ever," she replied sarcastically with a small smile, but I could tell she was in too much pain to even think.
"Looking a little warm there Elena?" Finn spoke up as he looked me up and down, inspecting my outfit. I just let out a little chuckle as if it was true.
Walking in silence now, we only made it around five minutes before the guards up ahead stopped moving, and then everyone went silent. "Why are we stopping?" Raven asked confused trying her best to sit up and look.
"I don't-I don't know," Finn replied, his face turning a shade of white before suddenly huge gasps were heard upfront. I'm not sure what it was but it was clear.
"Grounders!" Jasper screamed at the top of his lungs, making my guess correct. Quickly everyone began running back to camp. My shoulders burned as I pumped my arms harder and harder, losing where Finn and Raven went but right now the only thing I could care for was being safe behind our walls.
As I was running with the crowd someone beside me pushed me once, then again. Looking to my right I see Kate fighting her way through the crowd trying to make it back while pushing past everyone beside her. I tried not to take notice of her as I kept running until I suddenly braked as a boy was lying on the floor covering his head. "Get up!" I shout as I grab his arm and pull him up. Placing his arm over my shoulder I try to ignore the pain as we both keep running.
Running into camp as one of the last people I drop the boy back on the floor and regain my breath. "Thank you," he said shyly before standing up and quickly making his way over to the edge of camp.
Looking around at all the flustered people I wonder what our next move will be. "Elle!" I hear someone shout, turning around I see Clarke calling me over. Jogging over to him she whispers "Don't go too far, stay close," I nod.
She climbs up one of the gunner's posts and stands next to Bellamy "Where are they? Why aren't they attacking?" Bellamy asked confused.
Clarke seems to realise something as she pauses "Because we're doing exactly what they wanted us to do,"
"What are you talking about?" I ask as I overhear their conversation.
Clarke hops down off the gun post "Lincoln said the scouts will be first to arrive,"
"If it's just scouts we can fight our way out, that's what Lincoln would do," Octavia suggested as she approached us. As Bellamy follows Clarke and hops off the gun tower I back up so we could have a talking circle.
"We're done doing what that grounder would do! We tried it and now Drew is dead. You want to be next?" Bellamy said in a sudden outburst.
"That grounder saved our lives," Finn told us as he made his way into the circle "I agree with Octavia for all we know there's one scout out there."
"One scout, with extremely good aim," Jasper added which wasn't helpful at all and so everyone gave him a look. He just sighed and looked back out at the forest from his gun spot
"Clarke we can still do this" Octavia begs as she wants to trust her grounder pounder.
Bellamy was first to break the silence as the rest of the 100 appeared to be listening to our conversation "Looking to you, princess what's it gonna be? Run and get picked off out in the open or stand and fight back."
