Chapter 18 part 2

Percy

Opening his eyes Percy toke in his surroundings. He wasn't anywhere he recognized. There was flowers everywhere, every existing type of plant, even the mythical ones, were in this garden. "Its..." Percy whispered staring at Nico as the boy looked worked out. "Where are we? How did we get here? Nico what's happening?!" He yelled as Nico bit his lip. "Percy, sit down... we have a lot to talk about." Percy sat down on the golden bench, his face scared and confused. "I want you to know, I never wanted to do this. I never wanted you to know. We all wanted you to have a normal life Percy. You deserved it. Let me explain before you ramble."

After the war with Gera we all got a wish from the gods. Annabeth wished for Luke to come back, not a surprise there. Leo wanted his mother back, Jason wished he and Thalia had the childhood of knowing each other has siblings, Reyna asked for her sister, Hazel wished for her mother and that she was taken care of with a nice husband and life. Frank wanted his grandmother back, but then changed it to communicating with her through IM. He didn't want her dying twice. Piper wished she was allowed to visit Olympus whenever she wanted, don't ask me why she asked for it. I wanted Bianca, but she chose rebirth, so... I asked for a brother. Not what I expected but he was cool. Percy... you were offered God hood. Again. At Olympus we all stood in front of our parents. When they offered, you said the one word that set it off, "No." you had said making Zeus raise a brow. "Are you certain?" You nodded and replied grabbing my hand. "I know what I want. I'm staying a demigod, I rather not see everyone i love leave me again." "Then what is your wish?" Your dad, Poseidon, asked. You thought, for the longest time. "I want a normal life. A life where monsters can't hurt us, a life were I wasn't a half blood. I didn't want to be half blood. But I don't hold it against you either." Poseidon looked at us all and my father, Hades, smiled for once. "You wish to be normal? You reject god hood for a life of a mere mortal?" He laughed making the other gods gasped. My father LAUGHED Percy. "Yes sir." Hera smiled and raised her hand. "That I can do." Percy she erased your memories AGAIN. She gave you want you wanted. But the spell only lasted so long. We started getting our powers back, when that storm hit... that Jason and Thalia. How we got here? We shadow traveled. But we can't stay long. Since we've been gone, the whole camp has been over run with cyclops and minotaurs. They need us Percy! But we can't return without you... Percy I can't ask this of you, I don't want to make you choose, but I have to say it. Percy, we can't go home unless you take back your wish and accept God hood." Percy stared at him for the longest time just like he had done when he was making his wish. "let me get this straight. I am child of Poseidon, I was offered god hood and said NO, and now I don't have a CHOICE because if I don't accept it, EVERYONE I SUPPOSEDLY KNOW WILL DIE?!" He yelled his eyes wide and raging like the sea. "Pretty much." Percy stood up, his face horrified. "I don't want to become a god Nico. But I don't want everyone to die." Nico placed a hand on the taller boys cheek. "Perce... I didn't-" he started as tears fell from his boyfriends face. "Please don't cry..." the son of hades whispered making Percy cry even harder. Nico pressed his lips to Percy's giving him a loving and soft kiss. "I don't want you to leave me... Everyone I love, leaves me..." Percy cried as they shared a tight embrace. "I remember... Gabe... hitting me. I remember Bianca... how I let you down, I remember coming out as gay after you kissed me. I remember everything Nico. Make it go away..." he whispered his tears falling faster as he squeezed Nico tighter. Nico cooed into the son of Poseidon's ears, singing quietly into his ears in Italian. His sweet voice calming the boy slightly. "I don't want to lose anyone anymore..." he whispered as Percy grew tired of crying. Nico was getting tired too from the shadow traveling. They landed against one another for support. "Nico..." Percy sniffles his eyes dropping down slowly. "Yeah Percy?" Nico whispered as the green eyed boy smiled slightly and looked at Nico lovingly. "Do you love me?"  Nico's heart stopped. Love him? Of course he did! How could Percy even ask that? Unless... Nico looked at his boyfriend but Percy seeped into a deep sleep allowing Nico to render unconscious into an even deeper sleep.
