Nico
The day after Percy gave Nico the sketch book, the poor boy wasn't holding up too good. Nico stared at the book, his hands shaking and tear forming in his eyes. Percy didn't deserve someone like him. All he brought was pain, sadness, and death. His phone buzzed signaling a caller. Tearing his gaze from the drawings he read the ID caller. Jason Grace
Nico had been ignoring the blond. Why? Because Jason knew everything there was to know about Nico. Everything. The phone kept buzzing, and buzzing. Finally, realizing Jason was as persistent as Percy, Nico answered the phone. The second he answered it, he wished he didn't. "NICOLAS DI ANGELO! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT OCTAVIAN IS GOING TO DO TO YOU!?" The small boy flinched from the yelling voice at the other end. "Grace! SHUT UP!" He yelled back rubbing his throbbing ear. "No! You shut up! This is going too far! Percy will never be the same when he finds out! Pluto! He wouldn't be able to control himself! And neither can you! We have to get you guys back home!" Nico gulped and shook his head. "No! I'm not going back there!" Jason sighed into the phone. "You can't keep running away Di Angelo." "Maybe not but I'm sure as Hades I can try!" Nico yelled furiously. He wasn't going back. Never, not even if it meant he'd die trying running away. "Nico are you hearing yourself?! I saw at least 6 of them!" At that Nico froze, as if the world stopped and he didn't know how to breath. "Nico, we have to go..." Jason whispered. "But... can't I... at least be the one to tell Percy... Everything?" There was silence at the other end. For a long time Nico thought Jason was going to yell at him about how stupid he was. "Nicolas..." the blond sighed into the phone. "Percy can't ever know..." Jason replied slowly. "But- I have to tell him! He deserves to know!" Nico yelled out pulling at his soft hair. "No! Di Angelo you'll kill yourself if you do!" "I don't care! This is tearing me apart!" Nico couldn't hold in anymore. He needed to tell Percy. But Jason thought otherwise. "Di Angelo no! You are going to ruin what you two have! What you have is special! It's pure!" Jason yelled through the phone. "Don't you think I know that?!" "Then why tell him?" "Because Octavian is going to if I don't!" The words fired out of his mouth before he could've thought about them. Jason was quiet once more, his voice low and dull. "You are going to hurt him so much... Don't you know how much he's been through!?" Nico flinched at Jason's growls and shook his head. "Not much..." the blond scowled and in a hushed tone said, "Percy almost killed himself because of Octavian..."

Percy

Walking around town looking for a small Italian boy was easier said than done. Bumping into Octavain? Let's just say Percy's been doing a lot of that. "Oh, sorry Octi." Percy groaned from the impact. "Haha, that's alright Perseus. I feel like a Percy magnet." The blond smiled as Percy blushed a light pink. "Seriously?" He scoffed unimpressed. Octavian shrugged and smiled shoving his hands in his coat pocket. "So what are you up to?" He asked Percy as the sea prince smiled crookedly and said "I'm looking for Nico. Have you seen him?" Octavian thought and shake his head. "I don't believe so." Perseus pouted and nodded. "Dammit, well I better go find him." "Perseus wait." Octavian called out grabbing Percy's arm. "I, I uh..." he started as sea green eyes stared at him confused. "I was... wondering if you..." he started as Percy's phone rang. "Hold that thought." Percy smiled and looked at the ID caller.

Percy smiled and excused himself from Octavian. "I have to take this, I'll text you later, ok?" He said with an apologetic look. The blond nodded and walked off. "Hello?" Percy asked with a smile on his face. "Hey Percy." Nico's voice spoke through the phone. "Where are you? I can't seem to find you anywhere!" Percy laughed out. Nico snickered and replied, "Sorry Perce, I've been home answering calls. Jason just wouldn't let me be antisocial in peace." he laughed making Percy smile in response. "That's alright... can I come over?" He asked as Nico's voice turned to static and the a different voice yelled through the phone. "Someone...... help! We can't hold... Half-Blood... over run.... Percy... son of.... Hades.... warrior... bring him home! We need... hurry Di Angelo!" And with that the line was cut dead. "Nico?!" Percy yelled as Nico's reassuring voice spoke quickly. "I'm here Percy. I'm right here." "What was that!?" He yelled freaking out a bit more. There was a long pause, until Percy's boyfriend spoke, "I don't know... it's come over so I know your safe and in my arms..." Percy nodded instead of saying something like he'd normally say. Like, "Zues Nico sappy much?" Or something kinky like "I'd do a lot more than be in your arms." But, something about this caller. Twice in one week. No way was this a prank call. This was something different. Something big.

Nico

Pacing back and forth, didn't help the soul or the mind. But it was the only thing Nico could do. They wanted, no needed him home. And what was he doing? Falling in love with him for gods sake! He was falling in love with Percy. That wasn't part of the plan. He never should've been selected to do this. He should've told Jason to do it. Grace was more capable and straighter than Nico will ever be. "Why am I so stupid!?" He yelled at himself banning his fist against the wall. This wasn't suppose to happen. But it did. Nico sucked on one of his spider bites, another habit he'd been developing. It wasn't part of the plan, but did he regret it? Maybe.

Or maybe not.

Chapter question: Who will tell Percy first?! Octavian or Nico? :0
