Percy

After an occasional round of punches from Octavian, Percy retreated to the bathroom to treat his wounds. Always after school. Always. The bathroom, aside from his room, was Percy's safe heaven. The boy stumbled into the bathroom, the only other person in there was a small pale boy cleaning his hands of red paint. He just suddenly appeared there since Luke moved, always washing his hands of red paint. The boy with red paint as Percy called him. He has sunken features but he was the cutest boy Percy has ever seen. Dark shaggy hair with over grown bangs covering his even darker brown eyes almost like coal black. Always a jacket of some sort, usually wearing a dark t shirt underneath, tight skinny jeans tainted with red and black paint, and black sneakers covered with dirt. Percy and the boy with red paint never talked to each other. Even though the boy was by FAR the hottest guy he's ever seen aside from Luke. Luke was Annabeth's boyfriend, before he moved away to Florida. He never knew of course that Percy had a crush on him. Though he would away give Percy brotherly love when he and Annabeth visited once a year for New Years. The comforting silence of him and the boy with red paint. 'I wish I could talk to him.' Percy thought glancing at the boy. 'Don't be silly, he probably already heard the rumors' taunted the little asshole voice in Percy's head. After the year Luke moved, Annabeth told Percy to come out of the closet, "It's better now than a girl asking you out and you rejecting her." she told him. Percy wanted to leave the secret between him, Annie, and his mom. But just like that 'wise girl', he ended up coming out 4 months before she moved. "You'll be fine seaweed brain." she had laughed, though the tear stained face said other wise. Percy sighed and that was his cue to get the Hades out of there or he might end up crying in front of the boy with red paint. Not only from emotional pain, but the wound was starting to sting badly.

As the 4th class started up, Percy slammed his locker and ran while putting on his blue sweater with a glowing green trident on it. No one wants to see those wounds. It was History, the only class aside from P.E., that he had class with the red paint boy. The strange boy sat at the back of the class tuning out the teacher since Percy's glasses broke, thanks to Octavian, he had to sit in the front and squint. 'Crap, can't see. God damn teacher writes so tiny.' he thought rolling his eyes. But like the obedient boy he was, he did his work without complaint. The bell signaled for P.E, as Percy smiled his changing locker had contacts so that'd help him get through the day. "What are you smiling about Jackson? Happy you get to see guys changing in front of you?" snickered Octavian in his ear making Percy jump. "What the HADES Octavian!?" Percy yelled turning to face the blond boy. Octavian wasn't ugly. In fact he was quite cute to Percy, too bad he was an asshole. Octavian just grinned and shoved Percy aside to go to the locker room. "Asshole" Percy groaned clutching his arm where Octavian shoved. The boy with red paint walked past Percy accidentally brushing his fingers on Percy thigh. Percy's face heated up but the smaller boy didn't even seem to notice. As Percy walked into the locker room he ran to his locker, opened it, put in his contacts, and changed fast without people seeing his bandaged arm. (He always carried extract bandaging since Octavian beat him everyday). He left his trident sweater on since his P.E. shirt was a t-shirt. "Jackson! 20 push ups for being late!" roared Coach Hedge. He was sour to the core, and called everyone fat or cupcakes. Percy groaned and dropped and did 20 shaky push ups. "Come on cupcake you can do better than that!" After about 20 more, Percy lost count after 48, sweat dripping off him and the coach yelling at him to sit his worthless ass down Percy almost cried in pain as he clutched onto his arm. Which was probably bleeding again. The only other boy sitting down, was the boy with red paint. He was the only one who had the guts to ignore the coach. As Percy sat down on the same bench as the paint boy, glanced at Percy and looked away. Percy mentally sighed and looked down not even bothering to stare at his crush. "Di Angelo! Stop sitting there and give me 20!" yelled coach as the boy with red paint rolled his eyes and stood up. 'Di Angelo...' Percy thought. He gave a silent laugh and made a mental note, 'something Di Angelo', Nobody called by his real name as far as Percy knew. It was always, "Mr. Di Angelo" that or "Di Angelo!" Personally Percy preferred the boy with red paint better because Di Angelo wasn't a name. It was a last name. And that wasn't enough for him. As the boy gave coach 20 push ups easy, he sat down again and stared at Percy. Percy saw from the corner of his eyes Di Angelo was staring at him, a bit creepy for anyone else, but to Percy it was almost impossible to keep his face from heating up.

At lunch Percy always sat under a tall tree. It had a lot of branches so anyone could jump Percy and he wouldn't know until the impact of their sneakers hit his head. That didn't bother him though, if life ended for him that day. It wouldn't bother him too much, his only regret was never knowing the boy with red paint's name. As Percy sat there, he saw people laughing away at the benches or gossiping about if Jason Grace is FINALLY going to ask out Piper McLean. Now Jason Grace was another of Percy's love interest until he found out about the rumors. Percy laughed quietly to himself eating the blue cookie his mom made for him yesterday. He toke out his notebook filled with pictures of fish that he enjoyed looking at. Any type of fish you could think of Percy knew where it lived, what it ate, how long it lived, and when its mating season. He also had his secret page hidden between the blow fish and jellyfish sections, covered with stupid saying like Percy <3 BRP (boy with red paint) or Di Angelo with a heart on the i, some words even say 'Persassy'. He continued on his secret page unaware of the eyes that watched him hidden into the trees.
