Chapter 6

Percy

Right after Annabeth ended the call, Percy rolled his eyes and Nico still laughed lightly. Percy couldn't stay mad after hearing that laugh. He looked at Nico and stared a bit too long. "What?" Nico asked raising at brow. Percy blinked and chuckled lightly. "Do I have something on my face?" Nico asked feeling his face. The older boy burst out laughing and the smaller boy rolled eyes. "What?" "Nothing nothing..." Percy laughed and the door opened leading in a tall calm looking woman. "Hi mom." Percy waved smiling as the woman refereed to his mom looked up and smiled warmly. "Hello Percy, and who might this adorable boy be?" she asked as Percy looked uneasy at Nico. 'Please don't make a joke about me being gay...' Percy prayed silently. Nico smiled and waved, "I'm Nico Di Angelo, a friend of Percy. Nice to meet you Ms. Jackson." Nico laughed at the Miss Jackson part and Ms. Jackson smiled warmly at him. "Please Nico, call me Sally. I reckon you enjoy the song Miss Jackson?" She asked him as he blushed lightly. "It's one of my favorites." he replied as Percy stared at the two confused. "There's a song about you mom?" He asked and Sally giggled. "Heavens no Perseus! It's just a song with our name." she laughed and Percy rose a brow. His brain turned and even though he was smart for his age, he can't help being a 'seaweed' brain. (Thanks a lot Annie) Nico laughed at how clueless Percy was to the song. "I'll show you later." He laughed. Percy turned to the smaller boy and relaxed a bit. "Sure." Sally looked at the two boys and gushed, "You two are just adorable. By the way, Nico won't you stay for dinner?" she asked as Percy blushed at the first part. Nico looked confused on her out burst but politely declined. "No thank you Ms. Jackson. I really must be going now." Nico sighed and pointed at Percy. "And you. Will borrow my headphones tomorrow." With that he left. "What a nice boy. why didn't you tell me about him?" Ms. Jackson asked as Percy sighed a blush on his face. "I did mom. That's the boy from the bathroom."

After dinner, and a long talk about being gay and who else was Percy hiding from his mom. Awkward silence between after he mentioned Jason's ass. But, his mom was ready to talk about other boys' asses with her gay as a rainbow son. Anyway, as Percy chomped down on a blue cookie while heading up stairs. His phone buzzed as he found an unknown number texting him. It read: Hey fish boi, I'm going to Skype you at 6:00. Percy rose a brow and toke a quick glance at the clock. 5:57. Who in Poseidon's underpants was Skyping him? He stripped his shirt and pants. Putting on a black and blue checkered pants, he was about to put on a shirt but the mystery person was calling him. He shrugged and pressed accept forgetting to put on a shirt. The caller read 'Ghost_King'. The screen was black until it showed a familiar face. "Nico!" Percy smiled waving. Nico's face had a faint blush on it as he stared at Percy. "H-hi..." he stammered as Percy tilted his head confused. "What's up?" He toke the time to notice Nico wearing black sweats and grey tank top... Why does it feel like Percy forgot something? "Nothing.. nothing much" Nico said his face heating up even more. "You alright Neeks? You getting a fever or something?" Perseus asked confused as Nico's cheeks turned beat red at the nickname. "Y-y-yeah.. I-I'm fine" He stammered covering his face with a black silk pillow. Percy shrugged and laid down on his Nemo pillow pet. "Is.. is that a NEMO pillow pet?" Nico asked confused and Percy nodding smiling. "Yep! I love that movie!" He shouted a bit too loud. "Perseus! Who are you talking to?" Sally asked from the downstairs. "Uh... Nothing!" Percy called back embarrassed if he ever got caught talking to Nico without a shirt. Oh crap! Percy face heated up extremely as he pulled on his blue tank top. "S-sorry!" Percy yelled at Nico as the smaller boy laughed. "You seriously didn't know?" He asked and the taller boy blushed. "I.. I forgot.." Perseus mumbled and Nico mumbled something that sounded like, "I didn't mind you without a shirt." Percy rose a brow and asked "Wait repeat that?" He asked as the younger boy stared at Percy as if he was amazed he heard that. "What?" he asked and Nico mumbled "Nothing. Never mind" Percy shrugged as they talked until 11:00. Nico yawned and to Percy it was the cutest thing ever. It toke all of Percy's energy to not scream 'Awh'. "You seem tried." Percy laughed and Nico nodded. "With great power, comes a great responsibly to take a nap." Nico stated all professional like making Percy laugh. "I'll see you tomorrow Seaweed_Brain." Nico laughed and Percy rolled his eyes laughing. "As to you my Ghost King." Percy smiled waving. Before they ended the calls, Percy swore he heard Nico yelling "Yes! He called me his Ghost King!"
