Chapter 12

Percy

Perseus didn't bother to wake up again. Since it was Tuesday, there was no swim practice. Call him lazy, but at least he was a smart lazy person! Come to think of it he needed new glasses... Nico didn't bother staying the night again, because when Percy woke up without Nico to yell at him to lay back down and bring warmth, he decided to fall back asleep without looking at the clock.

When he FINALLY actually woke up it was 4:00 in the afternoon. He stared at his phone with 34 texts from Jason, Frank, Annabeth, some from Luke, Nico of course, Will, Ashley, and even one from Octavain. Ignoring all but one he read Octavian's. Come to think if it, when the hades did he GET his number?!
Octavian: Hey fish brain, if your in the hospital or something I rather you being there by me and not some other asshole. Seriously I'm bored here.
Percy rose a brow at that. ooook? Replying to everyone, confusingly ben Octavian, and sparing a call to Nico, he decided to go outside. It was a cold winter afternoon, as he bundled up in his goldfish scarf and blue trident sweater. Too bad Nico wasn't with him, it would've been fun throwing snowballs at him. Man, Percy sounded so much like a love sick teenage girl. He chuckled to himself and flipped off his gay thoughts. As he walked he heard his name being called out. He knew that voice, yet he didn't speed up. "Perseus! Just wait!" His eyebrows narrowed as he stopped. "Hey... Why weren't you at school?" Octavian breathed out catching his breath. Percy didn't bother to answer. "Come on Percy. We aren't at school." the blond rolled his eyes and set a hand on his shoulder. To which Percy shrugged off. "Look, I'm sorry I bully you. Ok? I'm sorry I can't deal with my own fucking issues. But you should know it better than anyone!" Octavian apologized. "You broke your promise. Again!" The green eyes boy yelled out as the blond winced at his words. "Look Perce-" "Don't call me that. You lost that after you left me for dead." Octavian huffed and nodded. "Fine. Perseus, you KNOW I suck a keeping promises! I fuck up everyday! I warned you Percy! I fucking warned you but you didn't listen!" He yelled clenching his hair frustrated his warnings were ignored. Percy forced himself to look at Octavian, to which he quickly regretted to. "Percy, I'm sorry." With that, they stood there in silence. Until the snow started to fall and Octavian began to shiver. He was only wearing a purple sweater and some jeans. No winter get up or snow jacket. Percy managed a weak smile and toke off his scarf letting the blond borrow it. "You can't even dress for snow with out me." The blond scolded and flipped Percy off. But did take the scarf wrapping it around his pale neck. "By the way, how in the underworld did you get my number?" Octavian laughed uneasy and trailed off "Haha... Well... funny story actually Hey look! A Starbucks! Let's go!" He grabbed the trident boy's hand and ran over to the coffee shop. as Percy snickered, at least things were ok.

Nico
It was only a pinch, but it hurt like hell. "Alright your skull is on." said a girl around 17. Her punk rock pink hair flashed out almost blinding the boy. Nico already gotten his spider bites on, which by the way look HAWT. As was his skull earring. He figured why not get both. The lip ring would wait or another day. Or if he could SOMEHOW persuade Percy... He shook his head from the thought of Percy with a lip ring. He felt his phone ring, only to find out it was an old text from 16 minutes ago from his- I mean Percy.
Persassy: Hey Neeks! I'm going to Starbucks and I know how much you LOVE their frappes. XD so idk if you wanna meet me there in 20 minutes or nah? Text back soon so I don't drink two coffees.
Nico blushed at the frappes part. It was only ONE time. He texted back replying 'Sorry late reply, I got a surprise for u! ;) Just order me anything idc. see you in 10 min'
It wasn't that far and he was really excited to show Percy his spider bites.

Percy
As the phone buzzed in his pocket, Percy couldn't stop laughing at Octavian constantly getting whip cream on his face. "Your so stupid." he snickered as the blond licked his lips smiling. Percy's face went into almost complete shock as he read Nico's text. Holy Hera! Nico! He completely forgot he invited him to Starbucks. Percy's stomach made him uneasy and the guilt started to sink in. It wasn't like he was on a date though. Let alone he and Nico went dating either. "Percy!!!" Octavian grumbled trying to get his attention. "huh? Oh sorry Tavi..." Percy replied getting a faint blush out of the blond at his old nickname. "You look guilty. Wait... don't tell me. That Di Angelo boy." he huffed and Percy looked up sadly. "Octav-" Percy started as the other boy got up. "No, it's ok. We can hang out later. Tomorrow? After school at my place?" He asked grabbing his coffee. Perseus nodded. "Awesome. Bye Perce." with that he left without protest of Percy saying "Don't call me that."

Nico entered the Starbucks not only 3 minutes later with his coffee in front if him and Percy happily welcoming him. "Hiya Neeks!" Perseus smiled with a goofy grin. "Hey..." he smiled and giggled at Percy's face when he saw the spider bites and earring. "Holy Hera..." Percy started and actually started to drool. "Yo Percy" Nico laughed pointing at the wet tiny puddle on the table where the drool had landed. "Oh shit." The sea green eyes boy blushed and wiped it with his sleeve. "You like em?" Nico asked showing them off. "They look awesome!" Percy laughed as Nico shrugged and stared at Percy somewhat lustfully. "Thanks. You know, I have that lip ring Piper gave me..." he flashed the uneasy boy a smile making him bite his lip. "uh... I'll think about Nico. For now drink your coffee before it gets cold." Nico nodded like a good little boy and drank.

"Say cheese Perce!" Nico yelled snapping a picture of the two of them smiling and Percy with whip cream on his upper lip. "I look stupid." Percy laughed out as Nico posted it on Instagram. "Done!" He smiled as the comments flooded in. As usual Ashley was the first to comment. 'OMG! Spider Bites?! Percy you get a lip ring now! I mean it! So kawaii!!!' Percy tolled his eyes as they walked out, confusingly somehow hand and hand.

Octavian
{What now?! XD}

He watched them, hand and hand. He slumped down the building sipping his coffee. "From the bottom of my heart, I hate you Perseus Jackson. But they do these feelings come back? Percy is Greek. Octavian is Roman. It isn't compatible. No, it is. In the coffee shop it was real. Nico di Angelo was just in the way. Octavian needed something bad, something horrible, something Percy could never forgive. He stopped, he smiled. And stared back at the sea prince, and the dark shorter boy.

"You'll wish you never interfered with me. Nico Di Angelo, this is just the beginning of my happily ever after."
