The air was thick with tension on the school field as Will Byers suffered another episode. It was a sight no one wanted to see-a moment that seemed to stretch on forever as he crumpled to the ground, overwhelmed by whatever unseen force was plaguing him. Julianna stood frozen, her heart racing in her chest as she watched Will's body shake uncontrollably. Around her, Max, Mike, Dustin, and Lucas shared nervous glances, their faces pale with shock.

Max was the first to break the silence that hung in the air like a storm cloud. "Okay, that totally freaked me out," she said, her voice quivering slightly as she turned to face the boys, desperate for validation.

"Did that not freak you guys out?" she pressed, her eyes darting between Mike and Lucas, who were still fixated on the scene unfolding before them.

"Freaked me out..." Julianna muttered, her own unease mirroring Max's as she tried to process the horror of what they had just witnessed. The boys, however, remained unresponsive, seemingly lost in their thoughts.

"Two episodes in two days," Lucas finally said, breaking the awkward silence, his arms crossed tightly over his chest as he stared into the distance. "It's getting worse."

"Yeah, it is," Mike agreed, his brow furrowing deeply. Julianna felt a chill creep up her spine at the realization that something was seriously wrong with Will, something beyond their comprehension. The worried looks exchanged between her and Max reflected their growing anxiety.

"Do you think it's true sight?" Lucas ventured, breaking the tension with a question that landed heavily among them.

"What's true sight?" Julianna asked, raising an eyebrow as she tried to grasp the meaning behind Lucas's words. The way Mike and Lucas exchanged furtive glances made her uneasy, as if they were sharing some hidden knowledge that she wasn't privy to.

"Nothing," Mike shot back, his voice dripping with irritation as he glared at her, clearly annoyed by her question. Julianna felt her cheeks flush with defensiveness, a familiar sensation when dealing with Mike's dismissive attitude.

Just then, another car pulled up, cutting through the tension like a knife. Joey, the scientist Julianna was staying with, stepped out and waved her over. Relief washed over her as she caught sight of him, hoping he would provide some clarity in the midst of this chaos. "See you guys..." Julianna muttered to her friends, urgency propelling her feet forward as she jogged over to Joey's car.

As she climbed into the passenger seat, she could feel the weight of her friends' gaze on her back. Max turned to the boys, the silence stretching out before her as she gathered her thoughts. "She's weird," Mike remarked dismissively, crossing his arms and glancing at the spot where Julianna had just stood.
