"hey sunwoo" haknyeon tapped the said boy's shoulder who turned and nodded and turned back to his friends. he ignored haknyeon.

when the older tried to get the others attention, him and his friend group moved seats. he could even hear them laughing at him and whispering like little girls "who does he think he is?"

haknyeon pouted and took his seat next to eric who was eating a chocolate. "good morning everyone. please take your seats and settle down."

the whole day went on like that. he didn't even sit with him at lunch. the younger was ignoring the older and he didn't know why.

he tried to think if he had done something that made him act this way.

"y'know if I wanted to be ignored I would've went to talk to juyeon"

"sorry, what was that?"

now haknyeon felt bad. he was too focused on thinking about sunwoo that he didn't even hear what eric was saying. what if the younger was telling him about his feelings and he completely missed it? he was a bad friend.

"wait eric, no im sorry" haknyeon grabbed the boys arm to stop him from leaving. "no it's ok. I understand that you're stressed out, we can talk another time"

haknyeon swiftly moved next to eric and hugged his side.

"I know I haven't been a good friend to you lately and I'm sorry. there is no excuse for my actions. I'm sorry for not hanging out or even just chatting with you anymore and for missing our dates"

"I mean it would be nice if you could tell me instead of blowing me off....."

"I'm really sorry, I've been so distracted lately but that's not an excuse. I promise to do better"

"hyung?"

"do you like sunwoo?" haknyeon slightly moved away to look at eric who had a serious expression on his face.

haknyeon shook his head "enough about me. what's happening between juric"

they chuckled before eric made him sit up properly.

"no I'm not"

eric was just looking at haknyeon but the older felt as if he was staring into his soul. he wasn't sure. no, actually he was sure he didn't like the boy in that way.

yes, he was cute, and had beautiful tanned skin and soft raven-coloured hair and he's body was quite toned and his pink lips that were so plump but seemed so soft-

wait a minute what was he thinking! no he wasn't thinking because he was going crazy now. why was he thinking about sunwoo like that? especially when he started acting like a jerk again.

actually he was only thinking about it now that eric mentioned it but he never really thought about the younger like that.

"you even had to think about your answer"

"but I don't like him" haknyeon mumbled

"you're literally sulking because he's been ignoring you the whole day"

"it's fine if your not sure, there's no harm in liking him. just be careful, I don't want to see you get hurt"

eric had a point he guessed. it would make sense why he'd start sweating the moment sunwoo came too close to him even if it was unintentional.

or why his organs did this funny kind of thing that he couldn't explain everytime thier hands brushed each other by accident which happened way more than you'd think. or when sunwoo would smile or even compliment him especially when it came to his cooking.

the more he thought about it the more he was starting to see eric's point of view.

the two boys went to the arcade afterschool and were having pizza because they were tired and needed to refuel thier energy for the next round.

eric had just finished telling the older about his and juyeon's situation and how he felt about it.

after haknyeon made a mental note to actually take time and think about his feelings for sunwoo he kept bothering eric until he told him what was going on.

and sunwoo said that he shouldn't force eric to talk. he shouldn't have listened to anything that jerk had to say. he was the dumb one after all.

"I think you should still tell him how you feel"

"it's not like it's going to change anything"

"but atleast he'd know how you feel"

haknyeon let eric be. eric despite popular belief could actually deal with his problems. haknyeon knew that the younger knew what he was doing. afterall the younger wasn't one to get into conflict. and when he did, he tried to resolve it. keyword being tried.

they caught up on random things and decided to leave an hour later. they were walking home when haknyeon noticed a familiar figure across the street walking out the library.

it was sunwoo and a girl? he didn't recognize her but he noticed that she wore thier school uniform. maybe he did like sunwoo.

because if he didn't why else would he feel like he was having a heart attack and he couldn't breathe.
