sunwoo didn't show up for the next few sessions which kind of upsetted haknyeon especially because he wanted to know what was going on between the him and the girl - who's name he found out was yuna.

at some point he was starting not to care anymore. especially when he confronted him and got "geez, you are so annoying. can't we have a short break? I can't be with you 24/7 like I'm your boyfriend or something. I have a life too now leave me alone" as a response. that too infront of his friends and yuna.

that really hurt him lowkey. it was unnecessary and uncalled for.

he really didn't know how to react. he wanted to lock himself in a bathroom and cry his heart out but he managed to pull it together.

and besides. he wasn't going to waste his tears on someone who didn't deserve it. he was beginning to remember why he didn't like him in the first place.

even with that being said he couldn't really make his feelings dissappear. and with yuna showing up he felt like it only made him want him more.

even though he said all these things deep down he admired the younger from afar.

"haknyeon please stay after class" Mr Lee asked

haknyeon wasn't even going to fight or try to get out of it. he sighed. he was used to being in this class whenever things weren't going great.

he took the usual seat after class. it felt kind of weird sitting there since he hadn't been here like this in a while.

"I'm impressed. sunwoo's grades have very much improved"

"you should tell him that"

"you tutored him. your hard work paid off aswell"

"he's a smart kid he just lacks time management skills"

"honestly I don't know how to thank you for helping him"

haknyeon thought for a while. should he ask this from Mr Lee? he wasn't sure if he was the correct state of mind to make this decision.

afterall his job was technically done and anyway he was never given a specific period either. but he wasn't sure if he was making this decision with his head or heart.

he pondered on it for a while before looking up to look at Mr Lee.

maybe this was for the best. it's not like they were friends anyway. thier lives could go back to normal and they can act like they never knew each other.

haknyeon would have more free time now - he could even make plans with eric. after giving it a quite some thought he asked.

"can I stop tutoring him?"

"hyung! are you going to the halloween thingy?"

"no-"

"pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee~"

"i was going to say, not until I get a costume..."

"yay!"

they spent the rest of the day deciding on what they were go to dress as and all that.

they decided that they would get ready at eric's place because it was closer to school. haknyeon would sleepover at the boy's home the night before to make it easier for them to get ready together.

eric wanted to go as edward cullen from twilight this year and haknyeon wanted to dress up as a werewolf.

haknyeon found it as a cute concept. in the movie the vampires and wolves weren't friends but they would be showing that it doesn't matter who or what you are, don't let anything stop you from being friends or even more than that if you wanted.

but it's not like they were going to tell anyone that. it still sounded cheesy. they were only going to say something if anyone asked.

they had been pretty much enjoying the last bit of free time they had left. the exams were finally starting the next week.

and it's not like they didn't know thier work or didn't study. that's literally all they have been doing. but you can't do the same thing all the time.

so they were unwinding before they started stressing because there was no point in stressing now, especially if it's not going to be of any help.

they were sitting in a pc-cafe. after thier conversation they went back to playing thier respective games.

haknyeon took this time to think. he needed to get all his thoughts together.

the exams were next week. he was confident because the time he spent helping sunwoo was actually beneficial to him.

although there were some topics he'd had to revisit because there were times he couldn't focus because of the younger.

talking about sunwoo, after that day when he rudely told haknyeon off they hadn't spoken. haknyeon did try to talk to him from time to time but the other just flat out ignored him.

at some point the older gave up. if he wanted to act like that he could. he didn't care for the reason anymore. especially after noticing the boy's interest in his new girl-friend.

he concluded that yes, he had somehow in this short amount of time fallen for him which was a bad idea but he couldn't help it. he was slowly getting over his feelings. ignoring him made it slightly easy.

eric was back to being eric but he was still concerned because he never told juyeon about his feelings. but if eric was happy, it was fine. that's all haknyeon cared about - eric's well being.

he was only eighteen but he was already exhausted with life. and thinking about how he still had a long way to go made him even more tired.

even after he completed the exams he still had to finish his senior year and then apply for university and study some more before he can hopefully land a good job.

he hated life and his was sure that it hated him too. 

after processing his all thoughts he left to buy some drinks for him and eric then he let his mind wander wherever while he played his game.
