eric and haknyeon were laying on the younger's floor. they were staring at the ceiling.

"so what's up?"

"really?"

"what?"

"that's how you decide to break the ice"

"do you have something better to say?"

"actually, no. no I don't"

they layed like that for a awhile.

"this is the first time we have nothing to say to each other"

haknyeon sighed and sat up.

"I know it's been a crazy year and alot happened and there wasn't much we talked about but I hope that whatever happens after we graduate you will still be there experiencing it with me. you're like my little brother and I don't want to lose you"

"not you talking like we're dying or something"

haknyeon smacked the back of his head and went to sit on the couch.

"you're a bully you know that?"

"and you're an idiot"

"and yet you love me"

"and yet I love you"

the chuckled.

"hyung, no matter what happens I'm always going to be there to annoy the shit out of you and nothing's going to change that, much less graduating"

eric moved closer and hugged the older's legs while he talked. haknyeon ruffled his hair

they knew that they were each other's best friend but they both agreed that they haven't been communicating well this year and it concerned them.

yes, friends don't necessarily need to talk to each other about everything everyday but haknyeon and eric weren't like that. it's one of the reasons they clicked so well. they were platonic soulmates after all.

they ended up recapping on everything that went down this year and shared their opinions on each other's stories and gave advice when asked.

there was alot of gasping going on and feelings of being betrayed especially when haknyeon spilled everything that went down between him and sunwoo. everything except the kiss of course.

he still didn't process it properly himself so how could he possibly tell eric.

after that stories about juyeon and eric were told and the (82)major (get it 😀 cause it's a kpop group- I should really stop doing this) urge haknyeon felt to smack the shit out of juyeon but he didn't because it seemed like sunwoo was taking care of it from what his heard.

which was weird because, kim sunwoo? like it was just weird. he had feelings and cared for other's? suspicious if you asked him.

he was convinced that sunwoo was trying to steal eric away from him. they were hanging out from time to time without him. again, suspicious.

after all the heart-felt talks and gossiping session they went back to being the usual crackheads that they were.

but they promised to always be there for each other even if they were miles away from each other.

and promised to support each other no matter what happened. except if the other was acting like a complete idiot.

they promised that they would better friend's next year and in the year's to come.

and with that they spent the rest of the day being the iconic duo that they are.
