I was uncertain of what to do after whatever that was just happened.
I stayed in Lorenzo's bathroom with him and Emilio as he tried to help Harry with his bleeding nose like I was told to by Gi.
But then they both went downstairs so Emilio and I just sat on Lorenzo's bed talking about school which is starting soon.
"I'm not even prepared for school," I groan.
"Yeah," Emilio chuckles, "sucks to suck. I'm never going back to that place."
"Is it a bad school?"
"Giovanni would never allow us to go to a bad school, Chiara. It's an alright place but school is school," he says as he lays himself down on Lorenzo's bed.
I agree as I couldn't imagine Giovanni being okay with any of us going somewhere bad for us.
"Boop," Emilio presses his finger on my nose, causing it to scrunch up.
I swat his hand away with a laugh.
"Can I say hey to your friends?" Emilio asks.
Out of all my brothers, he and Noah are definitely the most interested in my friend group.
Which to me makes sense as they're the most similar to my friends.
I take my phone out of my pocket and call the group chat again.
Josh immediately picks up as he's probably still not doing anything, same as this morning.
He screams, "Oh, my! Well shove a stick up my ass and call me a hot dog, is that my favourite Moretti?"
"Hey, Josh," I laugh.
"Oh, hey, Chiara," he says almost absentmindedly, "Emilio!" He cheers.
"Hey!" I exclaim, "I thought I was your favourite Moretti."
"You're my favourite Chiara, don't worry," he soothes.
"Bitches be distracting me from my work," is the first thing Bailey says when he joins the call.
"Don't call your boyfriend a bitch," Josh reprimands.
"Hey, Chiara and Emilio," Bailey says.
"Hey, Bailey," I laugh.
"Guys, Chiara has to start school soon," Emilio brings up.
"Ha!" Josh exclaims, "girly has to go back to highschool!"
