This one will be short as it's a POV switch from 14 which I didn't want to include in the chapter but couldn't make chapter 15 as I wanted that to be a completely different one.If you get me.

Guys I don't even like horses but that was the emoji recommended by my keyboard when I said anyways)
I look over at my youngest siblings who are sitting on the sofa in front of the TV where The Lion King is playing, Simba all grown up now.
Chiara is completely knocked out, head on the arm rest of the sofa and her legs resting in Noah's lap. Noah sits comfortably, idly running his fingertips over our sister's calves with his full attention being on the movie playing in front of him.
I shut my laptop and make my way over to them both.
"I'll take Chiara to the bedroom, she'll be more comfortable in there with her head on a pillow instead of on the arm rest," I say to Noah, scooping Chiara up and into my arms.
I make my way over to the bedroom and place Chiara in the bed, tucking the covers in around her and kissing her forehead.
I smooth my hand over some stray curls and find myself smiling at how innocent she looks in sleep.
I shut the door gently and sit next to Noah on the sofa.
He takes his eyes off of the screen long enough to look at me for a moment and say something that I didn't know I needed to hear.
"I'm so happy, Giovanni," he smiles, a dimple showing on his right cheek.
And I swear, with that sentence alone, I'm healed from any inner turmoil going on.
I live and breathe for my brother's (and now Chiara's) happiness. And, as the oldest, I'd do anything to make sure that a smile is permanently stuck on their faces.
Although, Taylor struggles to do anything with his face other than scowl.
I smile at my youngest brother as he turns his view back into his favourite movie, "I'm glad you are, Ragazzo."
[Kid]I'm a bad person, I don't deserve these siblings who are so good.
But there's no way in hell I'd ever stop looking after them. Protecting them. Being the parental figure they've missed out on for so many years. The figure that they deserve to have guiding them through their lives.
Chiara eventually wakes up and makes her way back to the couch.
I smile up at her sleepy face and open up an arm for her to slip under.
She does, snuggling into my side and I wrap my arm around her.
All three of us watch the end of the movie, chuckling at Pumba and Simon every so often.
I'm happy too.
