Kionnie patiently waited outside her 1987 cherry red Cadillac, with its twenty-five-inch gold rims, the top down, for Naomi so they could attend a car show.
Kionnie couldn't wait to show her best friend, Naomi, the city she had grown to love and the city that loved her & her music .
Kionnie had been in Los Angeles for only a short time, but she had already made a name for herself. She wasn't just trying to get to the top by sleeping with everyone; she was being the real person she was, day in and day out. She couldn't trust anyone else in this city, but Naomi had been the only person she had ever truly trusted.
Kionnie, who had been lost in her thoughts, was startled when she saw Naomi emerging from her apartment door. Naomi's smile lit up Kionnie's face as she hopped out of her car, eager to greet her best friend.
"yes baby ya look so fucking sexy , my little gangster" Kionnie said pulling her bestfriend into a tight hug making Naomi giggled while hugging her back , Naomi was just as happy to see her .
" you gotten so thick like omg yes naomi baby " She said to her while turning her around to get a better look at her . making Naomi laugh while turning towards her to give her compliments as well . while showing her 10k gold grills .
Kionnie, with a radiant smile, gazed at her best friend, Naomi. One of her most cherished qualities about Naomi was her impeccable sense of style and the way she effortlessly expressed herself through her clothing.
Kionnie couldn't quite articulate how much she yearned for her friend's presence. In Kionnie's life, no one had ever been as supportive and understanding as Naomi. She held a deep affection for Naomi, and she was certain that this bond would endure forever.
Naomi and Kionnie rode down the Los Angeles streets, passing the fifth of dussé back and forth between them. Slowly, they felt the liquor in their system as their bodies began to warm up.
"There are a couple of people I want you to meet, okay, baby? You don't have to talk if you don't want to, though. I just want them to meet you because you're part of me," Kionnie said to Naomi, glancing at her. Naomi simply nodded her head, agreeing. She knew that Kionnie wouldn't put her in harms way, and vice versa.
Twenty minutes later, the pair pulled up to the crowded parking lot, their eyes scanning for an empty space.
"Take my pictures, Kash, please," Naomi asked Kionnie as they both stepped out of the car, grabbing their purses. Naomi also grabbed the dussé bottle.
