two weeks later
9:30am

Naomi sat on her balcony, gazing over the city. Today was the day of her mother's passing, and she yearned for peace. However, the tension between Leandrew and Kailey had been weighing heavily on her, as she found herself drawn to both of them.

Kailey had abruptly left this morning. For the past two weeks, she had been sending mixed signals about her feelings, and Naomi couldn't comprehend why she had suddenly turned so negative. While she knew she didn't want to be around Leandrew due to his possessive behavior, she felt powerless to change the situation. She had tried to distance herself once before, but Kailey had known about it.

Leandrew walked onto the balcony, spotting his lover deep in thought. He wrapped his arms around her, sensing that today was a difficult day for her, given her mother's passing. He had read her diary multiple times and knew that she was struggling. Before he had to leave for a while to handle some business, he wanted to comfort her.

He wanted her to know that he cared about her and would always be there for her, no matter what.

"Are you okay, baby?" he asked her passionately, as she simply nodded. He felt her energy, which made him feel a sense of relief. He hated that he couldn't heal her right away, but he knew what he could do.

He led her to the bedroom so they could have passionate sex. Leandrew was glad Kailey was gone. He missed having Naomi to himself because when Kailey was around, she didn't want Naomi to give any of her attention to Leandrew, which either Naomi and Leandrew liked.

Naomi wondered if having Kailey around was a good idea. She hoped it wouldn't backfire.

Leandrew was madly in love with Naomi and didn't know if he could share her any longer. Over time, Kailey had shown another side of herself that either of them liked, and Leandrew had no problem getting rid of her. But now wasn't the time.

hours later

Leandrew and Leon stood in the basement of their warehouse, observing Clarance, who was tied up to a chair and appeared beaten.

"This guy ain't sounding tough now, is he, Leaky?" Leandrew questioned his brother, causing them to burst into laughter. Leandrew had kidnapped this grown man and flown him to the United States just so he could handle the situation personally.

Leandrew meant every word when he said he would find Clarance. He had men in Cuba searching for him. Clarance managed to hide for a couple of weeks, and Leandrew applauded him for that. However, he didn't hide as well if Leandrew found him.

"Fuck you, nigga!" Clarance spat blood on Leon's Timberland boots, angering Leon.

Leon punched him in the mouth, and Clarance immediately cried out and apologized for his behavior. Leandrew didn't want to kill him because of his father's reputation, but he would teach him a lesson about strangers.

"Damn Leaky, he messed up!" Leandrew laughed at him. He was a man of his word and had told Clarance what it was. Leandrew wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, and it was no doubt about it. If he didn't know Clarance's parents, he would have sent his head off in a gift box.

"I know, I wonder what his father would say," Leon said, getting under Clarance's skin.

"Probably disappointed that his son is a fucking rat," Leandrew said, shrugging his shoulders. He began to get bored with the situation because they wouldn't be killing Clarance. They decided to leave him down in the basement for a few days.
