Nate cleaned the first floor that morning while she looked towards the stairs over and over again, in case Marco had arrived. Who knows what he had told Julian. Julian always kept everything to himself, so Nate was afraid he would explode at any moment.

"Morning!" Marco finally appeared carrying a tray of vitamins. "I was so happy to hear from Frida that you weren't going back to the UK. But where have you been? I've been looking for you for the past two days. You weren't at your flat either."

"Marco! What have you told Julian?" Nate scolded Marco, ignoring his question.

"Uh... about what?" Marco asked confused.

"I appreciate you telling him about Rachel, but did you tell him about Keith too?"

"What did I do wrong? He should know that the man who took his wife is here."

"But I don't want him to hear it from anyone else. He'll think I'm hiding it from him."

"Then, are you going to tell him yourself?"

Nate didn't answer. She didn't explain anything to Julian yesterday either. She didn't meet Keith, so she didn't feel the need to make Julian worry about things that didn't happen.

However, Nate and Julian's relationship was going well. They still maintained the longing space as before. Julian would practically come every morning to go to work with Nate. She would visit his flat after work to check on Muffin and feed her, then she would go home.

However, Julian said that Rachel would probably come to his flat on the weekend. So, he usually spent the night at Nate's place every Saturday night, bringing Muffin with him. Then, they would spend time together until Sunday. Julian admitted that he wasn't avoiding Rachel because he was afraid, but he didn't want Nate to feel unpleasant about it.

However, Nate didn't tell Julian thatshe used to watch him from Philip's restaurant. She wanted it to remain her little secret. She didn't want him to feel that she was being too aggressive and that she was stalking him if he found out that she had been doing it since she first arrived in town.

Nate had just finished lunch at Philip's when the girl named Yvet showed up again. Nate frowned at her, while that girl seemed happy to have her there.

"Hi, we meet again," said Yvet while sitting opposite Nate. "Do you have lunch here regularly?"

"Sort of," Nate replied unwillingly while opening her bag to take out her wallet, as a signal that she would leave soon.

"Oh, right. Mr Stannard must have told you that I work with him," Yvet started the conversation. "He's a very good superior. I'd like to give him something as a token of gratitude. Can you tell me more about Mr Stannard, and what things he likes?"

Nate thought for a moment. She unexpectedly felt stupid because she didn't know much about Julian, even though she had known him for her whole life. "He once lived in Japan and joined a band there as a vocalist and guitarist. He loves rock music, books, and... uh... he also loves musicals and theater."

"Wow, I didn't know Mr Stannard had such taste in music. He doesn't have that look on him," said Yvet. "What about his favourite food? I only know he likes hot Americano."

"He doesn't have favourite food in particular. He'll eat whatever that's served to him."

"I knew it. He's not a high maintenance person," Yvet muttered while nodding. "So, what about his ideal type? Does he have specific criteria in appearance or character?"

Nate exchanged glances with Philip. She felt like her suspicions about this girl were right. How could Yvet ask her about Julian's ideal type just to give him something as a token of gratitude. Then Rachel crossed her mind. Yvet and Rachel were quite different. Nate was sure that Yvet wouldn't be able to compete with Rachel's uniqueness.
