"Julian, open up. Let me explain!" Rachel called while knocking desperately on Julian's door. "Julian, do you want me to explain it here, and let all your neighbours know?"

Rachel finally heard the sound of a key turning. However, Julian only left the door slightly ajar, while he glared at her through the crack in the door.

"Go home. Ask that cousin of yours to pick you up," said Julian coldly.

"Wait!" Rachel rushed to hold the door as it closed again. "Why are you like this to me, Julian? Why do you defend her more than me?"

"You already know the answer."

"You're all black and blue for her. Do you still love her?"

"It's not about my feelings for her. You've gotten her in trouble. You and Donald should be grateful I didn't report you for harassment. Now, just go home."

"I did that because I love you!" Rachel sobbed as she held the doorknob. "You met her behind my back, while I know how you feel about her all this time. I don't want her to take you away from me. I want it has to be me by your side, it has to be me in your eyes. Don't you understand my feelings?"

Rachel looked at Julian sadly. Julian would usually melt with her tears. But now he just stood there staring at her.

"If you already knew how I felt, you shouldn't have forced yourself from the start," said Julian. "I was never taken from anyone, so stop controlling my feelings. Go home. Never ever see me again."

Julian really closed the door and locked it again this time. He could hear Rachel still calling him while banging on the door. So, Julian immediately called Harold who was waiting downstairs.

"Come here and take her home. Or else, I'll call security for causing a commotion." Julian said to Harold.

Julian sat on the sofa with his eyes closed, enduring the throbbing pain in his arm. He recalled when Don knelt beside him and apologised after their fight.

"I didn't mean to do this, Stannard. Really. It was Rachel who asked for my help." Don said breathlessly.

"I know." Julian gasped for a breath. "But what you said about Matilda, was it Rachel who asked you to say that too?"

"I'll apologise to Powell too. I'll call her or see her to apologise to her in person."

"Don't you dare to call her or see her again, even if I'm there!" Julian snapped quickly. He didn't know if Don was sincere in doing it, or if it was just a ruse for his other weird plan, and Julian didn't want to take any risks.

"But I like her..."

Julian scoffed. "After my dead body."

Don looked at Julian. "You really still love her, huh?"

Julian didn't respond. Don called Rachel who came with Harold, seeing Julian lying on the carpet with an injured arm. They immediately took him to the hospital. Julian reconciled with Don, although he added that he wouldn't have anything to do with him in the future.

It was almost midnight when Julian arrived at his flat. He gritted his teeth as he remembered the scene he saw when he came to Don's flat earlier. How Don kissed Nate's lips, how he was on top of her, and even touching her body in front of him. Julian refused when Don reiterated that he really wanted to be in a relationship with Nate. Julian knew he was being selfish, but he couldn't let her be with Don.

Julian was almost asleep when there was another knock on the door. He opened his eyes and listened carefully. Was Rachel still in front of his unit? Julian got up and went to the front door. He opened it slightly and peeked out. Liam, Sophie's husband, was standing in front of the door. Julian had asked Sophie to help him pick up his car from Don's place.
