Her parents left the room, and she got up from the bed to walk outside. The doctor gestured that her bag was on the chair. She took her bag and exited the medical room.

Namjoon was sitting on a chair outside the medical unit. He watched her walk after her parents with hesitant steps. She wasn't crying, but fear was evident on her face.

She didn't see him; she was lost in her thoughts. He stood up and went to his office. She settled into the back seat of the car, her mother in the passenger seat, while her father drove.

As they drove down the road, she leaned her head against the window, staring outside. She snapped back to reality when the car suddenly stopped.

Her mother turned to her angrily, throwing a pair of clothes onto her lap. She glanced at the hoodie and pants, then back at her mother.

"Get out of the car," her father said, causing her to turn her head to face him.

Confusion washed over her. Did they want her to walk home, or were they abandoning her? She looked between her parents as her mother spoke again.

"Didn't you hear what your father said, princess? Get out of the car," she whispered barely above a murmur.

"T-the house is far... I won't be able to walk that much," she replied, looking at her mother with concern.

"Who told you to come home?" her mother said, making her frowned.

"I don't want a daughter like you," her father said, making her stare at him in disbelief.

"W-what are you saying, Dad?" She placed her hand on his shoulder.

"Don't touch my husband with your dirty hands. You ruined our reputation. No one will accept you, so it's better for you to live apart from us. You're no one to us," her mother said angrily.

"D-Dad... what is she saying? I'm your daughter... your own blood. How can you leave me like this? Trust me, I didn't do anything wrong," she pleaded, trying to explain her innocence.

"Look, Y/N... don't push me or I'll do something terrible. Get out of the car fast and don't ever come back to us again," her father said, a tear escaping her eye.

She couldn't understand how they could be so cruel. She was already in so much pain, and now her father wasn't trusting her. Realizing there was no point in arguing, she said nothing further. She smiled at her dad, glanced at her mom, and then stepped out of the car.

Standing on the sidewalk, she watched as the car drove away. She looked down at the clothes in her hands, put them in her bag, and began walking down the sidewalk, unsure of where to go. Eventually, she found a bench and sat down.

Exhausted, she closed her eyes and recalled everything that had happened to her. Tears streamed down her face as she cried until she finally drifted off to sleep on the bench.

Her eyes opened when someone shook her. Looking at the person in front of her, she heard him say, "It's been three hours since you've been sleeping outside my shop. This bench is for people to sit and eat. Do you want anything? If not, please leave; my customers are waiting."

She got up from the bench and murmured an apology. Then she remembered she hadn't eaten anything since morning, but she didn't have any money to buy food. Her stomach growled loudly.

Placing a hand on her stomach, she pouted in confusion, unsure of what to do. Her mouth watered as she glanced at a tteokbokki stall.

She closed her eyes and shook her head, trying to resist the temptation as she continued walking. A small cafe caught her eye, and an idea sparked. She should find a job to support herself and have something to eat.

She entered the cafe, hoping they needed help. However, the receptionist informed her they weren't hiring anyone at the moment.

Disheartened, she stepped outside and noticed a closed shop nearby. She sat on the ground, placing her bag beside her, and rested her head on it.

Overwhelmed and tearful about her life, she eventually drifted off to sleep again. She hadn't thought about the baby all day, she couldn't believe how much her life had changed.
