Namjoon carefully carried her into the kitchen, cradling her in his arms as though she were made of glass. Gently, he placed her onto the chair, ensuring she was comfortable.
Y/N’s cheeks turned a faint shade of pink as she noticed Soojin sitting across from them. The weight of the moment, coupled with her shyness, made her look down at her lap, avoiding Soojin’s gaze.
Soojin, noticing Y/N’s flustered state, offered a kind smile before pouring her a glass of water. With a calm voice, she encouraged "Try to drink as much water as you can. It’ll help."
Y/N nodded, taking the glass in her hand and downing the water in one go. She set the glass down with a soft sigh, feeling a little more at ease.
As Namjoon began serving food onto her plate, Soojin glanced at him with a teasing smirk. "It’s tasty. Finally, you know how to cook something properly" she said, her voice laced with playful sarcasm. Namjoon chuckled softly, shaking his head at her remark.
Y/N hesitantly took a bite of the food, the flavors exploding in her mouth. She couldn’t suppress a small, delighted hum. Her stomach growled eagerly, craving more.
"Hm" she moaned softly, savoring the taste as she took another bite of kimchi. The spiciness only made her crave it more, and she found herself unable to stop.
Soojin raised an eyebrow at Y/N’s enthusiastic reaction and turned to Namjoon with a grin. "You know...Y/N" she said, her tone conspiratorial "this man takes forty minutes to make ramen."
Y/N giggled, the laughter bubbling up uncontrollably. She nodded, covering her mouth as both women shared a hearty laugh at Namjoon’s expense. Namjoon rolled his eyes, though a small, affectionate smile tugged at his lips.
"But"Y/N added between laughs, "he makes the best ramen! He adds spices and sauces that make it absolutely delicious."
Her voice carried a tone of genuine admiration, and Namjoon felt a warmth bloom in his chest. Her words, simple yet heartfelt, struck a chord deep within him.
They continued eating, chatting, and laughing together. Y/N was fully immersed in the moment, savoring every bite of food.
However, her soft pleased moans while eating began to stir something within Namjoon. He shifted uncomfortably in his seat, silently cursing himself for how his body reacted to her every little sound and movement. Why does she have this effect on me? he wondered, clenching his fist under the table.
When dinner ended, Soojin approached Y/N, who was busy clearing the dishes. Her tone softened, carrying a hint of concern. "I told him everything" she said, her eyes locking with Y/N’s.
"Please take care of yourself. Rest, take your multivitamins, and follow a proper diet. Don’t do anything reckless again." She hesitated for a moment before adding, "If not for yourself, think about Namjoon. He’s doing everything he can for you."
