Tank Gets A Roommate

     As we started the conversation there was a knock on her door.  I went to open it but I also had my hand on my gun in my holster.  It turned out to be Blade and Vee.  Vee went straight to Juniper and wrapped her in a hug.  Blade asked me to step outside.  We went out and Blade told me that Prez agreed to have a couple of prospects to rotate shifts keeping a watch on Juniper.  He then told me that Vee was pretty upset about it.  Vee saw her just a day after she was beaten.  She remembers seeing the bruised marks on her neck, the black eye, busted lips and how black and blue her ribs were.  I tell him my plans of either taking her back to the clubhouse or staying here with her.  Blade gives me a funny look.  He asked me if I was into Juniper.  I assured him I was just trying to be a friend.  Hell after the deal with Penny I am not sure if I want to try again.  We go back in and soon they leave.  I asked Juniper "Do you want to go to the clubhouse with me or you want me to sleep on your couch?"  I wait on her answer but I see she is struggling to make a decision.

     I don't know what to do.  I know that at the clubhouse I will have more protection.  I don't know where I would sleep.  I don't want to stay here because I know Rick has already been here twice.  It's not like I can run home to my mommy and daddy.  I really don't want to leave the area.  I enjoy my job and I really like my friendship with Vee.  I decided not to allow Rick to uproot my life that I have managed to have here.  I face Tank and tell him that I have decided to go back with him.  He walks me to my car and follows me to the clubhouse. 

     Tank showed me to his room and got me settled.  He went downstairs to talk to Prez.  I looked around his room and was surprised it was so clean.  I go to his bathroom to wash my face.  I have to go to work tomorrow so I got my clothes ready.  Once I was done with getting everything ready I sat on his bed and turn on the TV.  I was so engrossed in my show that I didn't hear Tank come back in.  He brought me a water and some chips to snack on.  He sat down beside me and discussed the show with me.  The show ended and he told me he would sleep in his recliner.  I can't let him do that.  I tell him that I will be the one sleeping in the chair but he refused.  We finally agreed on us both sharing his bed.  I put on my pajama shorts, my oversized t-shirt.  I went back into the room and Tank was already laying down.  I laid down and set my alarm.  Tank talked to me for a few minutes about what I usually do during the day at work.  I gave him a rundown of my work schedule.  He told me that a prospect would be near the hospital and that either Blade or himself would take Vee and me to and from work.  I ended up dozing off while he was talking.  I am emotionally drained.

     Tonight is different for me.  I am not use to sharing my bed.  Let me clear that up.  I am not use to sleeping all night with a woman.  Juniper fell asleep pretty quick but I am laying here wide awake.  I found a show to watch for awhile.  I finally relax and started feeling sleepy.  My phone vibrated with a incoming message.  I check it and see its from the prospect watching Juniper's apartment.  He let me know that he saw a man dressed all in black walk up to her door.  He went to check it out but the guy was gone but he found a note pinned to her door with a knife.  I asked him to read the note to me.  He read:

"My dearest Juniper you may have gotten away the first time but I am here to claim what is mine.  You have been a very busy bad girl.  I realize now I should have beaten you into submission at the beginning instead of waiting.  I will get you back soon.  So my love be ready for me, I am coming soon.  I will make sure you pay for leaving me.  Oh yeah your dear daddy and momma send their love.  We have Sunday dinner every week and discuss ways to get you to be more obedient.  Yours always, Rick"

     Shit that bastard!  I text Blade letting him know about it.  We need to make sure she is never alone until we get this guy.  I look over to Juniper sleeping and I know I have to tell her about this in the morning.  I know she will be more on edge now.  Juniper ends up scooting against me and pushes her ass into me.  I am so tempted to turn toward her and pull her closer.  You know she can be my little spoon to my big spoon.  I can just imagine how soft her body would feel.  I do end up laying my hand on her hip.  It doesn't take long before I feel my eyes close.
