The Search Continues

Tank

     We have been searching for Juniper for the last couple of days.  I have no clue which way she went.  She has not used her credit card so that means she is using cash only which makes our search harder.  I had stopped with a couple of the guys to grab some coffee and breakfast.  I call back to the club to check in.  I am on the phone with Blade talking when I hear our Tech guy Cruz come in saying they found a credit card charge at a CVS about hundred miles from where I am at.  I jumped up and told the guys let's go.  I get on my bike and take off.  I hope she doesn't leave before we get there.  I say a little prayer as we ride.  I need to see her.  I need to make sure she is okay.  I wish that damn pregnant girl never came back.  She has caused so much trouble for Juniper.  I mean her damn lies have turned a lot of the women against Juniper.  She was well liked among us.  Now some of the old ladies have tried to turn the guys against her.  It pisses me slap the hell off.  They knew her enough in my opinion to know that she was not that kind of girl.  I looked ahead of us and saw the sign for the town they say she was in.  We are now fifty miles away.  Please stay there Juniper don't leave.  I need to find you.

     It took us a while to finally make it to the town.  I found the CVS she used then we all spread out looking for her car at the local hotels.  It took about thirty minutes before one of the boys called saying he found her car.  We all take off toward the hotel.  I go inside and ask for her room number.  The girl was not going to give it to me without a fuss.  I got Rocky with me and he can charm the pants off anyone.  He does his thing then she finally relents and says room 212.  We take off to her room number.  My heart is beating so damn fast.  I need to see her.  I need to see she is okay.  I feel like a my heart is going to beat out of my chest.  All I want to do is grab her up and hug the shit out of her.  I talk to myself to calm myself down because I know I don't need to overwhelm her.  I imagine that she will fight us about going back but I will make her agree somehow.  We get to her room and I knock.  I yell through the door letting her know its me so I don't scare her.  She doesn't open the door though.  I try again and I hear a muffled sound.  I ended up kicking the door in fearing she was in danger.  The guys had their guns pulled but when we got in the room we found Juniper laying in the floor looking like death.  I run over and when I touch her she is burning up.  I try to get her to respond but she is out of it.  I yelled for Rocky to call 911.  I hold her trying to talk to her until the paramedics arrive.  

Juniper

     I wake up and feel worse than when I went to sleep.  I am so thirsty.  I struggle to get up to go to the bathroom to get a cup of water.  I manage to get it but as I am trying to go back to bed I must have passed out.  I wake up in the floor but I am so weak that I can not get up.  I try to crawl toward my phone that's on the nightstand so I can call for help.  I can't make it.  I try calling for help but I am so weak that I am not able to yell.  Shit what am I going to do and what is wrong with me?  I lay in the floor for hours it feels like.  I am freezing laying here.  I feel the pain in my side intensify and I know I am running a fever.  My damn head is killing me too.  I have no idea what is wrong with me.  I hear someone knock on the door then hear Tank yelling that it's him and to please open up.  I try calling for help but nothing comes out.  Damn it I need to make sure he hears me.  I try again and get a soft help out.  The next thing I know I see Tank and a busted door.  Oh Thank God.  I hate that they see me this way because I know I look like death.  Tank comes over and lays my head in his lap.  He is smoothing my hair out of my face and telling me to stay awake and help is on the way.  However I am so tired and drained from fighting to get up or yell for up.  I close my eyes hearing Tank's voice panicking saying "Baby you wake up do you hear me!?"  I am sorry Tank but I am so tired.  

     I can hear voices and beeping sounds but I can not wake up.  I drift off back to sleep.  In my sleep I see myself at Tank's house playing with Peanut and Oscar.  They are chasing the ball.  I hear Tank telling me he loves me and I am smiling at him.  We go back into the house and he has fixed a romantic dinner.  We sit down to eat and watch my serial killer show.  I laugh at the romantic setting with candle lights yet we have on a serial killer documentary. I am eating my food and waiting on dessert because I have a surprise for Tank.  I found out today that I am pregnant and we are having a baby to add to our happy family.  As soon as we are done with our cheesecake I surprise him with a small vest with his cut on it saying jr in the making.  He jumps up and grabs me.  He kisses me and hugs me so tight.  I am so happy right now.  Please don't let me wake up from this.  Our front door burst open and Rick opens fire killing Tank.  I scream for Tank.  My love is dead.  I cry for my loss and I cry for our baby.  I feel a gentle squeeze on my hand as I go deeper into sleep.  

Tank

     I am scared of what's going on.  I have never seen someone this sick before.  They took her away and refused to let me know anything.  I have been pacing out here going crazy.  I gave a call to Blade to tell him what happened.  I can hear Vee in the background freaking out but they just got their kids so that can't come out.  I know her kids need her more right now.  I promised to tell them something as soon as I can.  I wait a little longer before going back up to the desk asking questions.  The woman says only family can be updated.  Rocky jumps in to say "Darling this is the woman's husband.  He is so upset he must have forgot to tell you."  He then gives one of his sexy grins.  She looks at me and asked is that true?  So I just nod my head yes.  She finally says okay give me a few minutes.  She gets up and goes to the back.  I turned to Rocky and said "Damn boy you come in handy sometimes."  He just slaps me on my back and walks over to sit down. We wait another thirty minutes before a nurse comes out and tells me to follow her.  I tell the guys that I will text them in a few.  I follow her back to a room and when I get inside I see that Juniper is hooked up to all that medical stuff.  She is so pale right now.  I asked the nurse what is going on and all she says is the doctor will speak to me shortly but that my wife is extremely sick.  I sit beside Juniper and she seems to be dreaming.  She whimpers and calls out my name.  Damn she called out my name.  I grab her hand and squeeze it which seems to settle her down.  I sit there beside her holding her hand and end up drifting off to sleep.  All this travel with no sleep is catching up to me.  

     I wake up to a knock on her door.  The doctor comes in with several other medical people.  He informs me she is very sick with appendicitis.  She needs emergency surgery and will require a hospital stay due to some infection surrounding the area.  I sign the paperwork they give me for consent.  I stand up and kiss her on her forehead before they take her away.  I walked back out to the guys to let them know what was going on.  They are going to head back to the hotel to get some sleep.  We will have to figure out how to get back home with her after the fact.  Maybe I can get Blade to call in a favor from his friend with the jet.  I call Blade next to let him know what's wrong with her.  I promised Vee that I would not be leaving her alone and that I will call no matter what as soon as the surgery is done.  I can hear the kids in the background and I can't wait to meet them.  Poor kiddos lost both parents but they found two wonderful people to show them some love and acceptance.  I go back to sit in the surgery waiting room.  It felt like it took forever but it was only about two hours before they came to get me to go back to her room.  I go back in the room and swear that she couldn't get any paler.  They said the doctor will be back soon to let me know how it went.  I sit down beside her and hold her hand again.  Man her hand is freezing.  The doctor comes in and tells me that the appendix had ruptured and she would require antibiotics and plenty of rest to recover.  He told me she almost waited too long.  I can't help but thank God she used her credit card at CVS.  He leaves so I called back to inform Blade about her condition.  I talk to him about possible working it out for a jet to take her back and maybe seeing if someone could come up to drive my bike and her car back.  I text the guys at the hotel to tell them what's going on.  They plan on packing up her stuff and putting everything inside her car.  They had already talked to Prez and worked out how to get everything back home.  They will leave going back tomorrow and I will stay with Juniper.
