Party Time

Juniper

    Tank's birthday is this week so I have planned a party in the backyard.  I have been busy all day making food.  I am happy about having people over.  I borrowed tables and sat up outside.  I made lots of sides already.  I also made brownies, cupcakes and some homemade ice cream in the freezer.  I have the grill ready to go and Blade is going to cook the burgers and hotdogs.  Today Tank is supposed to just enjoy his friends.  I need to freshen up before the guests start coming.  I throw on jeans and a t-shirt.  I put my hair up into a ponytail.  I put a bow tie on Oscar and a bow on Peanut.  I hear a knock at the door so I go answer it.  I see Vee and Blade.  I let them in.  Blade told me the guys are about five minutes out.  He goes out to start the grill.  A few minutes later the house fills up.  I wait on Tank to come in.  Brick is bringing him because he called him over to help with something so I could surprise him.  Vee walked over to ask me how I am feeling because a couple weeks ago I had strep throat. I tell her I am good.  She still feels guilty about me losing my job but I hold nothing against her.  She would have quit but she wants to help assault victims and the hospital is the best place for that.  Plus she has the kids to take care of now so she needs steady hours.  I still haven't found a job but I have an interview next week that I hope works out.  

     We all hear the horn blow which is Brick's clue that they arrived.  We all ran out into the back yard waiting .  I saw the back door open and Tank stepped out saying "Doll I missed...what the fuck are ya'll doing here?"  I ran up to him and hugged him.  We all sang happy birthday.  Tank picks me up and I straddle him while we kiss each other.  We finally break apart when we hear the guys whistling.  Tank goes to speak to all the guys and I walk over the woman.  I hear the old ladies talking about Hotshot's baby.  I had heard that he had a little boy.  Cherise leans over to me and asked "Did you hear about Hotshot and the baby?"  I shake my head no.  She goes on to tell me that the girl packed up and left the baby with Hotshot.  She told him she didn't want to be a mother.  So Hotshot is a single dad now which in my opinion he is probably better off.  Penny interrupts her then and tells us that Cherry has been staying with Hotshot helping with the baby.    Wow I have been out of the loop.  We enjoyed a night of food and friendship.  Later that night I gave Tank his birthday present from me.  Well I guess you could say the gift was for me, edible panties.  We stayed up late showing each other that we love exploring each other's bodies.  

Tank 

     Last month we had a great get together for my birthday.  I am enjoying my life with Juniper.  She has been searching for a job but still has some problems with the way people look at her after that damn girl ran her mouth.  I told her she didn't have to work but she says she needs to help out too.  I head into the kitchen to make us a quick breakfast because Juniper has been really tired lately.  I got the bacon going and toast in the toaster.  I start to scramble the eggs when I see my beautiful woman walk into the kitchen.  I can't help but want to laugh at the scene in front of me.  It reminds me of the time I went to her apartment and she was hung over. She looks adorable though with her bird nest hair, and that sleepy face.  I go in to give her a kiss but she gives me an evil look.  Okay my precious is not in a good mood this morning.  I hand her a cup of coffee.  I finish the food and plate our breakfast.  We sit down to eat and she takes a couple of bites but pushes the plate away.  I know something is wrong if my baby is turning down food.  I reach over to place my hand on her head but she bolts up running toward the bathroom.  I run in behind her and find her throwing up.  I wet a washcloth and pull her hair back.  Once she is finished I help her to the bed.  She assured me she is fine just under the weather.  I headed out to work but told her I would be home at lunch to check on her.  

      I am finishing up with some paperwork when I look to see the time and it's already after twelve.  I tell the guys that I need to run home to check on Juniper.  They all asked about her and I told them what was going on with her.  Prez starts laughing then Razor and finally Brick walks over to slap me on my back.  I am so confused right now.  I asked "You guys think its funny that my woman is sick?"  Prez laughs and tells me "She ain't sick boy she is expected a little Tank."  I shake my head no and explain she on birth control.  They all looked at me and asked "Do you want a boy or girl?"  I jumped up and ran out leaving them all laughing their asses off.  I get home and see that Juniper is laying in the recliner.  She is asleep.  I wake her up explaining that I am taking her to get a check up.  She complains but lets me help her get dressed.  We arrive at the clinic and describe her symptoms.  The nurse asked "Could you be pregnant?"  Juniper tells her no that she is on birth control pill.  The nurse tells her the doctor would still want to run the test just to rule it out.  She pees in the cup and they draw some blood.  We sit in the room waiting and I asked her "Juniper do you want kids?"  She answers "Yea someday probably.  You?"  I shake my head yes.  I am getting excited thinking about the fact she could be pregnant right now.  The doctor comes in and sits down going over her test results.  He looks up and says "Well found your problem...your rabbit died."  What the fuck is this quack talking about?  I look just as confused as Juniper.  The doctor finally says "Young people, anyway you are pregnant."  Juniper shoots up on the bed sitting up.  I think I quit breathing for a few minutes.  We are having a baby.  Juniper says "There is no way. I have taken my pill everyday without fail.  There is no way.  Do the test again!"  The doctor says "Well how about we do a sonogram real quick so you can see for yourself."  

Juniper

     I lay here with my shirt up waiting for this doctor to admit he made a mistake.  He starts the sonogram and withing a few seconds I hear the heartbeat.  He points to the screen and says "Right there is your baby. Do you believe me now?"  I hear it, I see it I just can't believe it.  I asked "How?"  Tank speaks up "Well Doll I put my dick in your..."  I turned to him with a death glare "Do not finish that sentence."  The doctor chuckles then asked me a few questions. I told him that I had strep few weeks back and took an antibiotic. He explained that anytime I take antibiotic I need to use condoms because it may make my birth control less effective.  I had no idea.  I looked over to Tank wondering how he really feels about this.  We finished up and left the clinic with information on some baby doctors.  I get in the truck not saying a word.  Is this a good thing?  I never truly thought I would ever get here.

     Once at home I sat Tank down and asked "Tank do you want the baby?  I mean are you happy?  I know we haven't talked about kids but I didn't know about antibiotics and birth control."  Tank leans in kisses me then leans over to kiss my belly.  Then this grown ass man stood up and jump in place squealing like a little bitch.  He dropped to his knees and said "You have no idea how happy I am right now.  I am getting a little Juniper."  I laughed and said 
"Or a little Tank."  He shakes his head no.   He picks me up and takes me to the bedroom to lay me down.  He kisses me while rubbing my belly.  He tells me that he will start talking to the baby every night.  He says he will be going to the bookstore to get us some books on pregnancy tomorrow.  He goes on and on about all kinds of stuff but somewhere between all his chatter I went to sleep with a smile on my face.  I am having a baby.  I drift off into dreamland thinking about having a little Tank but I do believe the baby is a girl.  I need to let Vee know too.  She is my best friend.  I have no family but Vee is closer to me than any blood relative I have ever had.  One day I will have to get Tank to explain his relationship with his mother.  I snuggle closer to Tank and smile when I feel him rub my tummy.
