Tank

     It's been about a week and half since Juniper had surgery.  She has had a slow recovery and I can't help but worry that all that drama right after may have done something to her.  Today we are all suppose to go to the clubhouse for a welcome party for Blade and Vee's kids.  Juniper told me to go to the store yesterday to buy them a present to welcome them.  She gave me ideas they may like.  I have the presents and now I am just waiting on Juniper to finish getting ready.  She seems to be feeling worse today.  She may have been trying to do too much.  They doctor said she was good about a week ago when he checked her.  Maybe she didn't sleep well.  I see her come out and she looks pale today.  I walked over to check to see if she had a fever but she pulled back.  She just huffed at me then grabbed her purse walking out.  I will have to keep an eye on her today.  I know she doesn't really want to go over to the clubhouse.  She is not interested in seeing Hotshot and Ms Hotshot.  

     We pull up to the clubhouse and I noticed she fell asleep.  We will be leaving earlier whether she likes it or not.  I walked over to her side of the truck and opened the door.  I shook her shoulder to wake her up.  She opens her eyes and I can tell she doesn't feel good at all.  I help her down and we grab the gift bags.  I want to ask her again if she is okay but I know she will just get angry with me.  My Juniper can be a hellcat.  We walked in and walked over to where we saw Blade and Vee.  I saw the two cutest kids sitting beside them looking lost.  As soon as we made it to the table Vee made a mad dash to Juniper.  I saw the concern in Vee's eyes.  They talked for a minute then Juniper said hello to the little ones.   She told them that we brought them a welcome present.  I watched as their little eyes lit up.  They opened each of their bags and I guess Juniper knew her business the little girl loved her doll and the boy loved his legos.  Juniper was talking to the kids when I looked up to see Vee mouthing the words is she okay and I shook my head no.  

Juniper

     I woke up feeling horrible this morning.  I swear if I didn't know they removed my appendix I would say I had appendicitis again.  Tank keeps asking me if I am okay but I don't want to ruin today for the kids.  I am happy for Vee and wanted to be there.  If I am not better tomorrow then I will give up and go back to the doctor.  The kids are beautiful.  I see they are shy and unsure of the surroundings but with time they will adjust.  I am need to use the restroom so I excuse myself.  I get to the bathroom and a spell of dizziness hits me.  I hold onto the wall but shake it off as just over doing it lately.  I wash my hands and make my way back out to the guys. I was intercepted by Hotshot.  I really don't want to talk to him but I don't want to cause a scene at the kids welcome party.  He goes to grab my hand but I jerk it back.  He finally just puts his hands in his jeans pocket.  He asked "How are you Juniper?  I have been worried about you.  I wanted to come over but Prez forbid me."  I need to remind myself to make Prez a cake.  I answer with a short "Fine."  He goes to say something else when his little side piece slithers up.  I see her belly has grown.  She gives me this fake ass smile.  She speaks with a really sickening sweet voice "Juniper we were all worried about you.  I mean your little escapade caused a lot of the women here to watch their men search everywhere for you instead of being home with their loved ones.  It doesn't matter all that matters is you were caught and brought back."  This fucking bitch is going to make me lose my freaking mind.  

      I feel someone step up beside me.  I smell that cologne that I know is Tank.  I have come to depend on this man so much.  He slips an arm around my waist and I find myself resting into his hold.  I hear him ask "Juniper come sit back down you know how much the club brothers love you.  They all have missed you and continue to asked about you.  Well unlike some others here you are one of their favorites."  I smiled at that ,it may be a lie but it still made me feel better.  I hear the bitch suck in a breath and I swear she stomped her foot.  Tank lead me away from them and I thanked him.  We went back to the table to sit down.  Tank asked me if I wanted something to eat.  I wasn't really hungry but I agreed to eat something small.  He went and made me a plate.  I am actually feeling nauseated.  He brought back a plate with a couple small finger sandwiches with some fruit.  I start to eat a little bit when I hear that damn sick sweetening voice say "Oh I see you are finally watching your weight Juniper, good for you."  I go to stand up but Tank holds me down. Everyone at the table gives her a glare.  She ignores it though.  She continues to talk about how she knows how to eat correctly if I am serious about losing weight she can help me...blah blah blah.  I finally just zoned out on her.  I do look up at Hotshot because he wanted us to still be friends but he did nothing to stop her from running her mouth.  He just looks away from me which causes me to realize maybe he wasn't as nice as I thought, asshole.  I get up to go to the kitchen to get a glass of water for one I am thirsty for two she is getting on my damn nerves.  

Tank

     I wait until the little kids are taken away from the table by Vee once she realized that we needed to handle this damn woman of Hotshots.  I see that Vee has them far enough away and I lean in so that Hotshot and his woman can hear me.  I tell them "Stay the fuck away from Juniper and shut your damn mouth.  Just so you know very few people here can stand you and only put up with you because you are pregnant with his baby.  Hotshot man you know you did Juniper wrong and I understand that you have to be their for your baby but you need to shut your woman up right damn now."  I see several of the other bikers have stood up behind me to back me up.  I guess the girl finally realized she needs to shut up.  She looks around to the women that are present and she asked them if they are not going to say anything.  I watch as each one of them even Cherry gets up and walks to the kitchen where Juniper went.  We all laugh a little bit before I step in closer to Hotshot to whisper "Fix it or I will."  I walk away after that .  

     I start to walk to the kitchen but get stopped by several people asking me about Juniper.  She is well liked here that is for sure.  She may not realize it but she is.  I see Brick and Penny so I walk over to speak to them.  I haven't been able to go over like I promised due to helping Juniper.  I hold my nephew for a few minutes.  I swear he has even gotten heavier.  I make a joke about what they are feeding this kid.  Cherry comes up and grabs my arm.  I go to say something but realize something is wrong.  Cherry tells me "Something is wrong with Juniper you need to go to the kitchen."  I take off to the kitchen with Cherry right behind me.  I see Juniper is clutching her side and leaning over.  I walked over and asked "Juniper what's wrong?"  She manages to get out "Pain, hospital."  I watch as she crumbles to the floor.  The nurse from before comes running in.  She checks her and tells me she needs to go to the hospital now.  I pick her up and Cherry holds the door open for me.  I need to make sure to thank her for helping.  I managed to get through with everyone looking at us.  As I am walking out I hear the girl say something about Juniper is always looking for attention.  We jumped in my truck and Pike's old lady came with me.  She is the nurse that helped before.   She had called ahead so when we pulled up they were waiting.  I sit down waiting to find out what the hell is wrong now.  I don't like her being in the hospital again.  I sit there for about twenty minutes when I hear a bunch of footsteps.  I look up to see all my brothers standing guard.  Man it touched me.  Juniper is not my woman but I do care for this lady and I care a lot.  Soon Jesse Pike's old lady comes out to tell me they took her for a scan but that she has a high fever and may have developed an infection.  So we sit and we wait.  Please be okay Juniper.

Juniper

     I remember being in the kitchen trying to get away from that bitch.  I started to feel worse and started hurting more.  I tried to drink some water but the pain became unbearable.  I doubled over holding my side.  Cherry came over to check on me.  I told her I needed Tank and she took off.  I remember thinking she probably hates me but soon I felt Tank beside me but the pain was so bad I barely got two words out before fainting.  I woke up while they were doing a scan of my abdomen so they could see what is wrong.  Well I know it's not appendicitis.  I was taken to a room soon and the doctor came in to explain the findings.  Jesse was in the room too and I was thankful to see a familiar face.  The doctor told me I had developed an abscess from my appendectomy.  They need to go in and drain it.  The next thing I know they are taking me to the surgery room.  I tell Jesse to please let Tank know.  She squeezes my hand and gives me a small smile.  I can't help but be nervous with how my last hospital visit went.

     They put me on the surgery table and began telling me what all they will have to do.  I listened to them but my mind is not clear right now.  They tell me they are giving me something to help me sleep during the procedure.  I watch as they put me to sleep.  I remember watching the doctor pick up his instrument saying "Let's began."  I was freaking out because I was not asleep yet.  However I woke up in my room a little later.  I lay there feeling some pain.  I saw they had an antibiotic iv drip going.  I hope they give me some pain medicine so I can just go to sleep.  I look around but don't see Tank or Jesse.  I can't help but feel uneasy about no one being here.  I don't want Rick to get me.  I start panicking a little bit.  The nurse walks over to me and asked me what's wrong.  I tell her "I need Tank please."  I start hyperventilating then.  I try to control my breathing but I can't.  I hear the nurse trying to calm me down but I can't.  I am scared.  I am scared of being alone.  I am scared of my parents or Rick getting me.  I am just scared.  The nurse ends up calling the doctor in but by then I am lost to my own panic.
