It's been a year, and Celestial Beryl never get to sing again. It was like her first in her new life and also her last. But she felt good tho since she experienced how was she able to heal others back then. She did not emit orbs, but her voice sent her patient into a deep sleep. And she literally slept outside that night, still feeling fine. She woke up due to the Archduke's morning struggles. Badtrip itong nagising, walang pasabing binasag ang isinumpang kadenang nawalan na ng bisa at galit na lumabas sa silid.

They stared at each other before separating ways, he was glaring daggers at her while she stared back for her dear ego. And since then they would rarely see each other. The Archduke probably kept on training while she did her job as Suprema every night and train nonstop during the day. Days, weeks, months, until a year passed and she's finally able to accept risky missions.

How time flies, sa sobrang bilis hindi niya na ito namamalayan. As far as she remember, she's no longer a minor. Pwede na siyang sumalang sa mga mission. Not that the Abyss considers minors before they send them off to mission, walang pakialam ang Abyss kung bata man yan o matanda basta may maipadala sila sa misyon. Hindi niya lang din maintindihan kung bakit hindi pa sila pinapalabas ng Abyss.

Ngunit siguro'y dumating na ang araw na 'yon. Now, the time has come for their never ending voyage.

"That will be your mission." Professor Chofan announced to the both of them. Pinatawag siya kasama na si Chalcedony.

"That book contains every information we need in the land of Beryllus. Everything is written in there. The history, the forms and magics, the forbidden, the stones... and what does it take to gain immortality." He sighed and glanced at the window, probably imagining things he's about to say. "That book is found in the most sacred part of Eufrata's library and you are to steal it. You need to get it no matter what happens. You are not allowed to come back until you're done with the mission. Steal the book and get back, that's all."

"May palugit ba yan?" Tanong ng Archduke.

Umiling-iling ang kanilang guro. "Wala akong narinig sa Reyna."

Celestial Beryl clutched her sword, it was like automatic. She stayed at the Castle for a damn year but she never get to see the Queen. But she's feeling something about her, the Queen, she's probably playing something in her mind right now. She's probably planning something.

"Ngunit mas mainam na bago matapos ang taon ay manakaw niyo na iyon at makabalik na kayo rito." Pagpapatuloy ni Chofan. "Hindi, dapat ay manakaw niyo iyon kaagad. Bumalik kayo kaagad."

"Tsk, I can finish it alone and fast." Ani ng Archduke at sinamaan ng tingin si Celestial, animo'y pinaparating na mapapabagal lamang ng dalaga ang kanilang misyon.

"Tch." Ang tanging reaksyon ni Celestial.

The Archduke grimaced, probably annoyed again due to her response. "You'll just get in my way, leave me alone, leave this mission to me and go sulk in the forest."

"Gold ka ba? Leave me alone my ass." Masungit niyang tugon sa Archduke.

Celestial silently smirked, so everyone's still careful enough not to mention her forbidden name.

"I can finish the mission in less than a month alone." The Archdike assured.

But Celestial Beryl is stubborn as well. "I could make it done in less than a week."

"Less than a day for me."

"Oh I could steal it once we get there and get home without you!"

"That's enough!" Frustrated na awat ni Chofan. "Do not underestimate the security in Eufrata. Do not go underestimating the sovereigns there, you need to learn--"

Chofan was cut off when the Archduke grimaced at the girl. "Stay here and learn from me. Watch me steal the book alone and come back alive."

"Tomorrow?" The two asked at the same time, doon lang sila nagkasabay.

Chofan smirked, "Yes, kids. Your mission starts tomorrow, and remember... it's the kingdom of Eufrata."
