Just a breif little epilogue about how Bella's going six months later, not really that interesting, but just popped into my head, so figured I'd add it anyway.

"So, how have you been?"

"Yeah, really good actually." Bella said as she swept a piece of stray hair from her face, and glanced out the window at the garden, showered in gentle rain.

"That's great to hear, Bella. You've come a really long way these last six months." The therapist looked down at her notepad before glancing back up at her. "You should be very proud of yourself." She smiled at the teen as Bella turned to meet her eyes, a bashful smile spreading on her lips.

"Thank you. I am." The pair smiled at each other in silence for a moment.

"So, are you still working at the Diner?" The blonde asked as she adjusted her seating, relaxing into her armchair. Bella nodded with a smile, growing more confident.

"Yeah I am. I really like it there. My coworkers are nice and I'm working with Holly, and we get to muck around sometimes and just have fun. And dad comes in on a more casual basis now, so that's a relief." Bella fondly rolled her eyes and her therapist chuckled slightly.

"You were worried he was still hovering weren't you?"

"Yeah. But he's not, and we're both better for it now." She replied as she reminisced. Her dad had worried over her for so long, and the guilt it had left her with had been strong. She hated that she'd worried him so much, but she'd also come to learn that, that's just what parents did. It was a sign of their love for their children.

"That's really good." She wrote something down before pausing to read a previous note. "And how are you going with your friends? I know last session you expressed wanting to build stronger bonds with the people at your school, and some from the reserve. How's all that going?"

"Ah, good. Sometimes a little slow, cause they've all been here together since they were born, and I still feel a little like an outsider with some of them sometimes. But Holly and Angela, and Jake, they always remind me that I'm a part of their group, that they want me there." Bella replied as she sighed and nodded to herself.

"And Jake? How're you two going? You said you weren't sure if you were worried about him being interested in you. How're you feeling about that now? Has anything changed?" Bella turned pink as she thought about the younger teen. He was so sweet and thoughtful, and yet lively and fun. More importantly he was there, and he wasn't going to up and run off.

"No, maybe, I don't know." She looked down to her joined hands in her lap, fiddling with them as she breifly, suddenly regretting letting Holly braid her hair again. It looked nice, but she suddenly felt the age old need to hide behind her curtain. Her therapist's smile softened and she lowered her notepad and tried to catch Bella's eyes.

"You know that's okay. Feelings are confusing, especially at your age. There are a lot of hormones running through your body and everything feels larger than life. But it's not." The brunette finally met her eyes. "You're young. You have all of your life ahead of you, and so much time to make mistakes and change your mind. Try new things and get all turned around." Bella sucked on her lower lip but nodded in understanding.

"I think it would be really good for you to get back out there. Give yourself a chance to find someone again."

"You sound like Holly." Bella commented with a snort, well aware she was changing the subject. Her therapist raised a brow, also catching it. The brunette sighed.

"I'll think about it." She took a deep breath, "I do, really like him." Admitting it outloud caused the red in her cheeks to spread further, creeping down her neck and up to her ears.

"That's good. You should tell him. And make sure he understands that you'd like to take things slow. It's perfectly okay, and if he doesn't understand that, then he's not right for you." She made it all sound so easy. Then again, she always seemed to be right and could read Bella like an open book. Guess that's what therapist are for. She thought.

"Okay, I'll try."

"That's all you can do."

He looked down at the screen.

Alice

He was tempted to let it go, to ignore her like he had the rest of the world. He pressed accept. There was a silence between both ends, for a long while.

"She's going to be just fine, Edward."
