chapter no. 006!

CONNER STOLL WASN'T ALWAYS ORGANIZED. In fact, on most days Travis was reminding him it was ok to be a mess. The Stoll brothers grew up in a very organized and strict household before arriving at camp at ages 10 and 10 in a half. The amount of hypertension built in the younger brother's mind was absurd, to Will's opinion.

"Nnor— hey bud," Travis smiled at the inattentive boy. "Finish your breakfast while I finish writing your notes." They had a system now that they had to study magic. Travis took most of the notes and Connor repeated them onto his own paper and vise versa. Yet on certain days, like this day, one of the brothers could become unresponsive and stuck to themselves, so the other would help them out and write the notes. It was day 10 of learning the magic world.

"Travis, we gotta get to the big house, I'll finish the notes, you just write down todays," Connor mumbled. They were a step behind from a few of their friends, including Percy. Annabeth offered to help them write the notes, but Travis refused, knowing it was wrong.

The boys followed Piper and Thalia into the house. The hunters of Artemis and a few of their friends from Camp Jupiter had stopped by for a visit, but Connor's certain they'll be helping finish the quest.

"Welcome, boys," Katie Gardner smiled. The lesson was barely beginning and Travis already wanted to leave. Beside him was Connor, struggling to find his pencils. At times, Connor was sensitive when it came to organized things because his brain still remembers his strict household at times. So it would bring him small tears and sniffles if he was a mess at those days.

"I forgot my pencil," Connor frowned.

"Not to worry, today we aren't using pencils. We're using Quills," Dumbledore, supposedly the headmaster of Hogwarts, and a friend of Chiron's, replied. His wrinkled and shaky hand swiftly moved and out came a pack of dancing white quills from his bag.

"And how will we write with no ink," Annabeth frowned.

"These aren't ordinary quills, these are magic quills. Unfortunately we can't afford making messes when writing at Hogwarts, but we are still very old styled, so we opted for magical writing objects. It will work as a pencil, but with infinite ink."

"Bonkers," Leo mumbled tiredly. He stared at the item in his hand and smiled, "it's pretty cool, Dumbledee— sorry, Dumbledore."

The group of demigods soon crowded the floor space and tables instead of just one ping pong table as they began practicing their writing. Connor took this time and wrote down his last few notes, it seems the quill makes things look smoother.

"Connor, do you want to come in later for your check up?" Will Solace peered down at the older boy. A flush of blood built into his cheeks as he nodded and multiple heads turned towards them.

"Are you alright, Connor? What's the checkup for?" Hazel Levesque questioned. His eyes turned frantic towards her.

"It's just a regular thing I get, ever since I got here with a broken leg," Connor grinned. He was building his confidence up slowly as Hazel nodded. "It's nothing bad, but Will says because of my dad, my bones healed a bit odd."

"Alright, that's a sum of today's lesson. Tomorrow you'll be traveling to Scotland. Pack safely."

MEY NOTES・ ཐིཋྀ⭒‿︵ ‧˚⭒
I feel horrible for leaving you on hold for no reason. I'm attempting at coming back to writing but my fingers are a bit slow. I decided to write about Connor and Travis because we don't really know much on their background. So I figured showing a softer side to them instead of just pranking all the time would be good for this book
