Vampire academy Dimitri's perspective

Part 10

As I followed the crowd to the commons I came to a skidded stop that was worth an award for "the best skidding stops 101". I pushed through the crowd and stopped at the outer fringes of it, listening intently. I am almost certain that I heard the tail end of an argument.

"And of you with either of us again, I'll break you in half. If you don't believe me, go ask Dawn Yarrow about what I did to her arm in ninth grade. you were probably in nap time when it happened."

I think I was missing parts of this story. but by the look on that Rinaldi girls face she knew the whole story. and by the looks of the rest of them, so did they. a patrolling staff decided to walk over and casting suspicious looks at the little group. Rinaldi hooked her arm with a young-ish boy and declared to the boy, "Come on."

Rose took that as an opportunity to talk," hey Arron," Rose cheerfully said. "nice to see you again."

"Arron" gave an uneasy smile and nod for a recognition. Arron ran away. with Rinaldi to the royal's table. I walked on, smiling. I took my position on the wall and put on a guardian face. I watched the room, Rose, and her friends.

I followed them around all day, due to the princess and Rose's knack for picking up trouble.

I was walking a fare distance behind them when Rose stopped to talk to Vasilissa. I walked up to them soon after. I had heard a lot to know Rose was going to make a run for it. if she was at least I will have taught her to fight.

"Rose?" I said. both girls looked up at me with puppy dog eyes- they probably didn't even know-telling me to not get Rose in trouble. "your late for practice," I said in my guardian voice. I nodded to the princess."princess" I said in the same voice.

Rose and I walked away. I looked over at Rose, in a way that you could not not tell I was, she looked like she was in a inner war. she stopped and started blankly eyes wide. I was so nervous
And had no clue what to do.
