Part 12

First I would like to say thank you for staying with me, I am sorry that I don't update that often... So...
On to the story!

A few days pasted, nothing really happened. Rose still is behind in training, and almost always shows up late for training, usually five minutes late if not later.

Today I sat in church. In the back where I always am, and listen to the important parts. They sing, standing up too. I usually just stand. I don't take communion. Witch shocks most, it's regular to do, but what shocked me most was that Rose Hathaway was in church. She looked a little zoned out and didn't take communion, I don't even know if she knew she was shooting death glares at Christian Ozera and looking around like a lost puppy. She only clued into the last part. Her head perked up, and she listened intently.

Church ended and every one walked out, except five or six people, Natalie Dashkov, some people I don't know, the priest, and Rose. I stayed in the back of the room and watched Rose and the priest. I could not hear but the priest looked disappointed and Rose had her guardian face on. As the priest left, Rose stayed, the priest returned with a book. I hid in the corner as Rose approached, not that I needed to she was so focused on Lissa. They left, and I followed shortly after.

"Yelp!" I dart out of the church my stake ready , just to see Lissa and Rose soaked with slushy water. "You okay?" Rose asked and handed Lissa her coat.

"Y-yeah."

"Take yours off." Rose said pointing to Lissa's coat.

" but you'll be-"

"Take this." I just watched the exchange. Lissa did as Rose turned around. There was some inappropriate blabber, some that got me angry, that should not have, Rose turned to to a girl, and fired a retort. I left, not wanting to have to get Rose in trouble.

I decided to read my book in my room until I had to go for a shift.

"Yes, Alberta, you wanted to see me?"

" yes, Belikov, I was wondering how Rose is coming along in her training, her times are better but I don't know much else can you fill me in?"

Sorry short chapter,( late disclaimer) I get most of this out of the book, and there was not much about Rose and Dimitri in that chapter. All this belongs to Mead.
