Delilah's POV:
I waited for an hour at the stair case for him. I felt so foolish for doing so, until I saw him it made it worth every second.
"Hey you, how was practice?" I watched a smile spread across his face making my heart stutter.
"Well you're looking at the new Slytherin keeper."
"I figured after three hours, are you excited to mingle in a creepy abandon shack?" I asked wiggling my eye brows.
"As long as you're there princess, I'm ready for anything." I couldn't help but blush at his comment as we walked in a comfortable silence to the common room.
"I have to go get ready with Imelda and Daphne, but I'll see you later." I said running off with a wave.
Once I was in my dorm I saw what looked like a clothing bomb had gone off. "Delilah thank Merlin you're here." Daphne said pulling me to sit on her bed beside Imelda, "she is being no help, and I'm trying to turn heads here."
I laughed as Imelda rolled her eyes, "I simply said the last three outfits are great."
"What are the last three outfits?" I asked as Daphne opened her mouth to start bickering with Imelda again. I watched as she put on three very similar outfits and acted like they were completely different. "I see, I think you should go with the black top and green skirt."
"Thank you that's all I needed. What are you two going to wear?" She asked wiggling her finger at us. We both walked over to our trunks and pulled out our outfits. "You are kidding me! No way did you just look in your trunks and know what you were choosing. That's not real."
"I tend to stick to the same party out fit," I gave her a shrug, "you can never go wrong with a little black dress."
"You two are unbelievable, like you made it look so easy, meanwhile my wardrobe is scattered across the room."
"That's because we keep it simple." Imelda said holding her all back outfit up.
We all continued to get ready, Imelda curled her hair and put it into a high ponytail with a touch of mascara. I opted for a low dutch braid space buns with a green knit cap with light eyeliners. Daphne chose to go all out with green eye shadow and her hair down.
"Damn are we gorgeous." Daphne said looking at us in the mirror, Imelda and I laughed and agreed. "I sent an owl to Angelina asking about the time this starts, she said after curfew whenever we can sneak out."
"So we have an hour to kill? Seriously?" Imelda let out a huff as she flopped onto her bed.
"I mean we could always talk about Sebastian." Daphne said as she wiggled her eye brows at me.
"I almost forgot to ask about that!" Imelda added perking up.
"Not much to tell," I said with a shrug earning me a look from both girls, "so maybe I like him and he kissed me. We still haven't had a good time to talk since." I looked over at Imelda.
"I couldn't let him off with a perfect first practice." She let out a huff, "wait... you kissed!"
I bit my lip as I nodded, "well more like he kissed me, and I pushed him away."
"WHY?!" They yelled at me in unison.
"Because it wasn't right," I said as they waited for more of an explanation, "it was because he was jealous not because he liked me, which he does apparently."
"Delilah, not everything is going to play out like your books." Imelda told me like I was daft.
"I know that," I looked down at my hands, "I just wanted it to be for the right reasons. Which I know in some way it was, but what if I wasn't good at it because I wasn't ready."
