As soon as the car stops at the school, I feel a bit of anxiety.

-I will be fine.

I unfastened my seat belt and my mother spoke.

-Good day, Grace. Remember that you will need a bus to return. I will wait for an interesting story.

-Write a reminder so I don't start walking, because I know the way home very well,
-I open the car door and get out of it.

-I can hear the sarcasm!

I slam the door and after putting my backpack and black leather skirt in order, I look at the paper in my hands.
The first lesson is in English. I look up at the high school and my mother signals before leaving. I pretend it's not my mom as most of the students' attention turns to me.

Okay, Grace. Time to take the damn steps. I quickly climb the stairs and appear at the door of the school. Upon entering the building, I am greeted by the beautiful interior of the school and countless students. Ian said it was the best school in New York. That was to be expected. I have no idea where the two hundred and seventeenth office can be found! There isn't even a simple school plan, so how the hell are newbies supposed to not get lost in this huge school?

-Hello, are you Grace Combs?

I hear a girl's soft voice behind me. I turn and smile at the owner of the orange hair.

-Hello, I am also lost in this huge school.

-Don't worry. That's what I'm for! I'm Briana. You speak English, right?

-Yes, -I nod.

-Let's go together, since I also speak English, -she holds out her hand and I hesitantly grab it, and because of the great teacher's appearance, you will like this lesson.

-I hope so -I laugh along with her Is everyone as polite as you?

We climb the stairs to the second floor. And how did I not think of this?

-This school has a lot of history, that's why if you live here and communicate with me, you will quickly get to know everyone,- she winks and we stop at the two hundred and seventeenth office

-Well here it is. come in. -She opens the door and just then a steamy bell rings.

Eight. It's eight o'clock and that means the first lesson has already started. I enter the classroom and both the students and the teacher pay attention.

-Grace Combs? -a young and handsome man gets up from the chair and takes a book in his hands.

-Yes, it's me, -I nod and go to his table.

-I'm Lucas Green, your English teacher. Here, take the textbook and sit wherever you want, -he smiles and I take the book from his hands.

I turned to the classroom and several guys who were sitting alone made room for me. A strange girl with orange hair, it's Briana, waves to me and I notice that she's sitting alone. Without waiting for anything, I rushed to the last bench. ...

-He's great, right? -she asks me quietly and I shrug my shoulders.

I sit down next to her and take out a notebook and a pen from my backpack. After all, you need to make a good conclusion about yourself, right? As soon as the teacher starts to explain a new topic (it's already the middle of September, so my mother and I are a little angry that we couldn't move in at the beginning of August), two boys enter the class.

-David, Liam. -The teacher sighs and the class laughs.

They apologize and go to sit on an empty bench. The brown-haired guy looks at me and I think he doesn't like me.

-That brown-haired one is Liam. He is my friend and we sit together, but I explained to him that I wanted to be polite to the newcomer. And then I understand his look. I'm sitting in his place.

-The other guy is David. My girlfriend's brother. In the next lesson you will get to know...

-Miss Briana, please listen.

-I'm sorry, Mr. Green.

Well, it's better than I expected. I found a friend already during the first lesson. Briana sweet, eloquent, smart, beautiful and careful. I would like our communication to last a long time, and not end in a week or even tomorrow.

The next lesson is volleyball. I wasn't ready for her at all and I'm not ready for her at all. The ball is not my best friend. I have a phobia of balls, so I won't be here often. Briana took me to the girls locker room and she walked up to the dark brown haired girl and hugged her. I think it's their greeting thing.

-Olivia, this is Grace. Grace, this is Olivia. She is new.

-It's cool to meet you, -Olivia hugs me and I get a little confused.

-New York is really starting to fascinate me, -I say quietly, but the girls hear and laugh.

-Oh, baby. In a week you'll be crazy about him.

-Do you do sports?

-Not today.

-Choose any locker and put the backpack. I would also suggest you take off your leather jacket, because the teacher hates them, -Briana.

I ask her and put the backpack (along with the leather jacket) in the closet. About ten more girls gather in the dressing room. They are obviously watching me and giggling. It's unpleasant. As soon as the bell rings, we enter the gym through another door. I gasp.

-Will the lesson always be combined with boys? -I frown.

-Yes. You get used to them very quickly.

-But it sucks when you have a lesson together with your brother. -She grinned and we giggled.

Three guys enter the hall, which makes everyone gasp. Are they some kind of ... vampires that everyone is afraid of? Well, the devil. The vampire series really twisted my brain. I can't help but snort. Everyone starts talking again, throwing balls or something.

-And these are the dreams of all girls. Eliot, Jace and Niall -Olivia start working out.

-All of them? Really? Because, for example, I don't see who would be able to attract all of them. It was much hotter in Santa Monica -I rolled my eyes.

-How many boyfriends have you had?
- Briana.

-Zero, actually.

-What?! -both of them gather.

-Why? Look at yourself. All the girls are jealous of you -Olivia.

-Grace Combs! The woman exclaims and I freeze. The woman looks up from her notebook and looks around.

-Grace!

-I'm here! -I exclaim and take big steps to her.

-Congratulations on coming to our place.

While she's telling me something, I'm watching the magic three. They are ugly, they scare me. What do their frozen looks at me mean? Maybe they really are vampires after all? No, then half the boys and girls in this class would be vampires. God, how strange and uncomfortable.

I THINK ABOUT THE MAIN CHARACTER MAYBE TEN TIMES TODAY. BUT I FINALLY DECIDED. I THINK YOU ALREADY KNOW WHO HE IS :)
