I sat up abruptly with a mix of sweat and tears. I looked around my bedroom to make sure it was't real. It happened again. I had the same vivid dream of the same thing every night since last week. It felt like it would never end. Every night felt like it was on repeat. And the worst part was that it felt so real. The dream was one of the worst ones I'd ever had... well, it was really more of a nightmare.

It started with a war, in what looked like some part of The Shire. There were orcs fighting the hobbits. And the worst part of the nightmare was that Frodo was fighting for The Shire. Then, the last part of the dream was Frodo somehow getting injured. It hurts to even say it, but he died from whatever hit him. I had no idea what any of it meant, but I knew it meant somthing. It either meant something bad was going to happen in my world, or worse. Any nightmare that something realistic happens, probably means that it will happen...

It had been a few months since I'd been to The Shire, and truthfully, I really missed it. I missed Frodo. I hadn't seen him or talked to him in what felt like years. And I had no way of sending a letter either. But my instincts were telling me something was wrong there. And if I missed it, somthing as horrible as my nightmare could happen. I had to go back, wether I liked it or not. So I did.

I stood there for a few moments in front of the tree, realizing wether or not I should actually take this risk. For all I knew, there could be orcs still in the Old Forest. And I had no protection from them. But if I didn't, somthing even worse might happen. I took a deep breath, and walked toward the tree with a mix of fear and confidence. Anything could have been on the other side.
