We sat down at the table on Frodo's front porch, just like the night that we fell in love. But this time it wasn't a good conversation.
"Felicity... other than me missing you every single day... " He chuckled and than his smile faded. "There's another reason why I wanted to see you." I looked him in the eyes, and I could sense sadness and fear in them. "Frodo...? What is it?" He let out a sigh and placed his hands on the table. "Well it's the orcs... they're planning to infest the Shire." My heart stopped for a split second. So this was how he would die. But not if I had anything to do with it.
"W-what? That's why they were in the Old Forest this whole time... " He nodded. Exactly. And if you hadn't came, I wouldn't have been able to warn everyone. I never go in the Old Forest." He laughed softly, but I couldn't feel happy in this moment. I looked down and thought for a second. "Uh, Felicity? Are you okay?" I nodded slowly. "Just... what are you gonna do? Are you... you can't... you can't fi-" "I have to Felicity. I have to fight." My mouth dropped and I sat there in silence. The war. The pain. The suffering. He would be risking his life out there. And it would end just how the dream ended. But I couldn't let it. I wouldn't let it. "Then I'll fight by your side."
