Lucy's POV:
"Lucy! Lucy!" A voice echoed around her house.
Tamara came stumbling in, jumping up and down with excitement.
Lucy laughed, "Okay, what?"
"You got it! You got the part!" Tamara waved her phone around, cheering.
Lucy smiled, but she was confused. "Which one? I've auditioned for over twenty movies and shows this past month.
"The big francise!!! Broken Shards of Glass!!" Tamara shouted again, her energy infecting Lucy.
"Wait- what!??! Oh my god! This is so big! That franchise is huge! If they continue the series of movies, I could be set for the rest of my career!"
"Lucy, you better remember me when you're super mega famous." Tamara said.
"I would never forget you." Lucy said sweetly, "I'm keeping you by my side the entire time."
She sighed. "Wow. I never thought I would get the lead. If anything, I thought I would be some side character."
"You underestimate yourself too much. It's only the start of your career." Tamara said, scrolling on her phone.
"Right. Augh. Everyone else is probably going to be more experienced than me." Lucy said, her mood going down.
"You'll be fine, Lucy. Your last show was a success. Three seasons."
Lucy sighed again. "Fine. You're right. Now lets get drinks to celebrate."

Tim's POV:
"Oh. I got the part!" Tim exclaimed, looking at his phone.
"Which one?" Genny, his sister and agent, asked.
"The one with Wade Gray. I'm glad I'll be working with him again."
"Oh- the murder mystery romance one, right? Something about shattered glass."
Tim nodded, "Broken Shards of Glass."
"Do you know who the rest of the cast is, yet?"
Tim shook his head. "I just got the email, so not yet."
"Congrats! This is a pretty big franchise, if it continues, you could have dozens of movies lined up. This could be the next Marvel." Genny exclaimed.
"Hopefully. I wonder how much time it would take for it to get to the press. Watch, one of the other actors are going to accidentally leak it." Tim chuckled.
"I'm gonna tell dad about this, I'll be right back." Genny said.
The smile was immediately wiped from Tim's face, and he barely muttered an okay.
Why don't your family come to your premieres?
Where are your parents?
Isn't your family proud of you?
How come you only bring your sister with you?
Press and paparazzi echoed in his head. Questions after questions, asking him about his family.
He'd ignored the questions, because he didn't have anything to say.
He didn't understand how his sister could have a good relationship with their dad.
The dad that smashed his head into the wall when he was a kid. The dad that hit him. The dad that made him feel like he was worthless.
Look at him now.
