Tim's POV:

It had been a few days since he first met Lucy, and it was actually pretty funny how snarky she was.

Lucy did seem to know what she was doing, and she was intent on proving him wrong.

Little did she know, this was all a Tim Test.

He would tell her eventually, but it was really entertaining to see her groan whenever he walked into the room.

"You should stop. I was so scared whenever I was with you." Angela said one day at work. "I still have PTSD from when I first met you."

Tim laughed, "I do this to all my co-stars. You're lucky I didn't do it to Wesley."

"Oh my god, he would've freaked out. But seriously, you need to apologize and tell her the truth!" She said.

Tim opened the door for Angela, and they both walked into the studio.

Lucy was already here, like usual, since she was always early.

"You have time before we start." Angela said, poking him on the shoulder.

Fine. Maybe I do feel the slightest bit of remorse.

"Good morning Lucy." He said, walking over to her slowly.

"Morning." She replied, not meeting his eyes.

"Can I talk to you?" He asked tentatively.

"Uh- sure. I need to go to my trailer first." She said, walking away from him.

"Okay- wait. I can walk you there." Tim said as he caught up with Lucy.

"Look. Just cut to the chase and tell me what you want." She said, annoyed.

"I wanted to explain and apologize about my behavior." He finally said, smiling at Lucy's shocked face.

"You wanted to apologize for being condescending and being an asshole?" Lucy laughed, "I don't believe you."

"No, it's genuine. I'm sorry. I do this to all my new co-stars to kinda get a preview on their personality and how they work."

Lucy studied him for a moment, unsure of what to say. "Okay. Um. That is news to me. So basically you torment your new co-stars just to understand them better? I'm not sure I understand your logic."

"I don't know about you, but it helps me figure out what type of person you are. You, for example, you have a lot of confidence in yourself and you know you're a great actor. You don't let negative things hinder you. You were willing to work through a tough situation in order to achieve what you wanted. You're not a quitter." Tim said, enjoying the way Lucy was dumbfounded.

"I- Uh- wow. That's a lot. Um, thank you." She took a deep breath, "That makes me a lot less stressed."

Tim smiled, "I'm sorry, but it's effective."

Lucy laughed, "You're so weird, Tim."

"Along with many other things."

"Thank god you explained, because I was ready to slap you if you made another condescending comment."

"Wait- what?"

---

The rest of the day was spent filming the first few scenes to set the general mood of the movie, then blocking the next few scenes.

"Woah- what happened to your script?" Tim asked, staring at the note-filled script Lucy was holding.

"What- you don't do that too? It helps me memorize my lines and it reminds me of what emotions I want to convey." Lucy said innocently, eyeing his own blank script.
