"Hurry up, Tiffu!" Zuri wailed. Zuri and I were outside the stalls, waiting for Tiffu.
"Done!" She cried. Tiffu opened the stall door and the three of us hurried to the gym.
I thought we were going to be late, but, surprisingly, we were early. Mrs. Twiga, my favorite teacher, waved at us.
We rushed over. "We aren't late!" Zuri exclaimed breathlessly.
Mrs. Twiga laughed, "Sweeties, of course you aren't! We start at 12:30."
I looked over at the clock and blushed. Oops. It was only 12:20.
"Why don't you three warm up?" Mrs. Twiga suggested, "I heard you three were perfecting our new routine all summer."
Tiffu smiled, "You betcha!" We got into a line. Tiffu, at the front, clapped her hands twice and yelled, "P!" She did splits in the air. Then she moved to the back of the line.
Zuri copied her but instead yelled, "L!"
Then it was my turn. I clapped my hands twice and yelled, "H!" After that, I performed a back-handspring.
[Kiara]: 🎶listen up, it's not so tough, I'll tell you how it's done🎶
[Tiffu]: 🎶there's really nothing better than to hear you're number one🎶
[Zuri]: 🎶and I know how to get a crowd right up and on their feet🎶
[Kiara]: 🎶so if you want them in it *claps hands twice* I'll show you how to get it!🎶
