✨️Nobodys Pov: ✨️
The two Hashira set out to follow the crow that would send them to the place where the two injured people and the demon moon would be. A light wind blew towards them as they ran at full speed. Soon, they came to a mountain with a large forest at the foot. They ran further and saw a lone house, isolated from everything.
In front of the house, there were several traces of blood, several pieces of flesh, and a severed arm lying all over the place. A horrible scratching sound could be heard from the hut. Both drew their katanas ready for a fight. They ran to the house. The smell of blood rose into their noses.
When they got to the door, they saw a demon kneeling over something that looked like a human body. the demon was gorging on one of the body's legs with relish; they were too late; one of the people was probably already dead, dismembered, and nibbled by a demon.
sanemi looked shinobu in the face, who also looked up into his eyes. They nodded briefly and then ran together into the house, where sanemi tried to cut off the demon's head from behind. the demon hadn't noticed either of the two pillars yet.
but suddenly, the demon turned around in the blink of an eye and slammed sanemi against the wall. he fell to the ground, but immediately got up again and launched an attack from the front while shinobu came from the side.
Together, they fought the demon. It was actually one of the lower demon moons, but it didn't take long until the fight was over, and Sanemi cut off the demon's head. The two ran to the body. "He's dead. I can't do anything anymore." said Shinobu.
"The crow said there were two injured people. Maybe the second person is still nearby." said Sanemi, and the two began to search. It didn't take long until they found the second person in the next room, but to their shock, it was someone they knew, Giyuu Tomioka.
"Tomioka," whispered Shinobu as her eyes fell over her badly injured comrade. "Quick, Kocho, do something," said Sanemi and knelt down on the floor next to Giyuu. Shinobu also seemed to wake up from her state of shock and knelt down on the floor next to Giyuu. Shinobu checked his pulse and breathing, but "he's not breathing and has no pulse," she said in a panic, and her hands, which were now full of Giyuu's blood, began to shake.
Sanemi's eyes widened, and he checked again, too. It was true Giyuu had no pulse and wasn't breathing anymore, but he was still warm. Maybe they could still save him. "Kocho, help me lay him on his back," said Sanemi, and together, they made sure that Giyuu was now lying on his back on the floor. Sanemi started to resuscitate him with CPR.
He felt Giyuu's ribs breaking under the pressure. Several minutes passed. Shinobu looked at Giyuu's face, with tears in her eyes. was this his end? "Come on, Tomioka, breathe," Sanemi mumbled to herself.
but suddenly giyuu's body contracted, and he started spitting out all the blood that had collected in his mouth. relief washed over the two of them, and giyuu started breathing slowly.
"we have to get him to the butterfly estate urgently. He is stable, but I don't know how much longer his body will last. He urgently needs medical help." said shinobu and continued to look at giyuu's face.
His eyes were closed, and blood was running out of his mouth. he was breathing again, but it was weak, as if it would stop again at any second.
Sanemi lifted Giyuu up bridal style, feeling as though Giyuu's body, weak and drained of blood, could collapse at any second. He now took a closer look at Giyuu's badly injured body.
There were deep cuts all over his upper body. He had a large head wound, and part of his hip was missing, as if the demon had bitten him and ripped off part of his body. It looked as if both of his legs and his right arm were broken. Even if he was a pillar, fighting a demon moon unarmed was near impossible.
Shinobu had also stood up in the meantime. The two nodded to each other and started running as fast as possible towards the Butterfly estate...
