"Oh, I hope Tomioka-San is okay," said mitsuri with a worried tone. "I'm sure he's fine," said Obanai, annoyed by Mitsuris. "Worries for the Water Hashira."Maybe we should look after him, " said Rengoku. "I agree," said shinobu. "That's a flashy plan, but I'm not sure if tomioka would want that," said tengen with his finger under his chin.
"Maybe just a few of us go to look or just one," said Shinobu thoughtfully. "Shinazugawa-san, do you mind looking after Tomioka-San?" A few of the other Hashira were surprised by the fact shinobu asked sanemi but then remembered that he used to visit tomioka a lot when he was in the butterfly estate.
"Whatever," said sanemi, trying to sound annoyed, but he immediately made his way to the water estate. It wasn't a long walk, and after some time, sanemi stood in front of the door, knocking and calling for the man who lived inside.
No answer. But sanemi heard movement inside the house "tomioka stop ignoring me and open the door." There still no answer. Sanemi got pissed. He knocked again "tomioka I can hear you're there, ope-" his sentence was cur of by loud thud.
"Tomioka, are you okay?!" Asked Sanemi, now worried but like before there was no answer. The worry inside of sanemi grew. He thought for a second and then decided to go inside. He tried to open the door, but it was locked. He tried to kick the door in, which worked after a few attempts.
With a loud bang, the now broken door fell to the floor. Sanemi looked around. Never has he been inside the water estate. It was almost completely empty, only a few simple pieces of furniture were standing around. "Tomioka?!" called Sanemi out and walked through the estate.
He ran down the hallway and opened a few doors to see if Giyuu was in the room, but he had no luck. He ran further and opened a door to what looked like Giyuu's bedroom. It was the only room in the house that was more furnished but no luck. Giyuu wasn't in that room either. Sanemi walked on.
He opened a door about two doors away, or rather, he tried to open it because something was blocking the door. Sanemi looked through the small gap onto the floor and could see Giyuu's raven black hair and a red liquid. Blood.ä
Sanemi's eyes widened in shock. "TOMIOKA!" He pushed with all his strength the door open enough for him to fit through the gap. And looked to the floor.
There on the ground lay Giyuu, covered in blood, his arms covered in deep cuts. Sanemi kneels down next to Giyuu. his hands are shaking as he brings them to giyuu's face and takes his scales in his hands. giyuu is paler than usual, his eyes closed, dark circles under his eyes, and tears under them.
sanemi moves quickly and brings his hand to giyuu's wrist to check his pulse he is relieved when he notices that giyuu is still breathing and has a pulse but his breathing is weak and his pulse very fast. sanemi looks at the wounds on his arm he knows what it is, but why would giyuu do something like that? ..do that?
sanemi's eyes fell on a medicine box in giyuu's hand. sanemi's eyes widened. don't say giyuu has... sanemi grabs the box from giyuu's hand. Painkillers. He opens it. it's empty. why why Why why why would he do that?!
Sanemi chases the thought from his head that wasn't important right now. He has to take Giyuu to the butterfly estate. He picks Giyuu up. The fabric of his uniform soaks up Giyuu's blood, but he doesn't care.
Sanemi made his way to the Butterfly estate as quickly as he could. He stormed through the doors, and as if on cue, Shinobu came around the corner, actually to deal with the person responsible for the noise. But she stopped when she saw the unconscious and blood-stained Giyuu in Sanmi's arms.
"KOCHO QUICK I THINK HE TAKEN AN OVERDOSE OF PAINKILLERS." Sanemi said and ran towards the woman in front of him. her eyes widened. "Come quickly." shinobu followed shinobu as quickly as possible into a room and laid giyuu on a bed.
shinobu came out from behind sanemi, her movements quick but deliberate. sanemi noticed a syringe in her hand, quickly moved to giyuu's arm, but switched to the legs because of the cuts and injected whatever was in the syringe.
"What did you give him?" sanemi asked worriedly. "naloxone, it's supposed to stop the overdose," she said and started to treat the cuts on giyuu's arms.
after a while, shinobu was done she and sanemi looked at giyuu's face and the constantly heaving chest that assured him that he was still breathing. sanemi looked at shinobu. There were tears in her eyes. "Is everything okay? sanemi asked worriedly, "Im fine.. im just wondering.. Why would he do that.." sanemi looked at giyuu's face. The question was also swirling in his head. Why would he do that?
