kakushi pov:

My name is Aimi, im 19, female, and im a kakushi even if I've been one only for two months now. at the moment, it's still early in the morning, about five o'clock. i'm standing at a gate and waiting for water hashira sama giyuu tomioka to carry him part of the way to the swordsmith village.

none of the kakushi knows the whole way, and so we keep swapping around so that no one knows where the village is. it's a great honour for me to carry water hashira sama the beginning of the way there. i've never met one of the pillars before, so this is my first encounter with a pillar. I have incredible respect for them. wuaahh i'm so excited I can hardly stand still.

time passed, but water hashira sama didn't show up; he had forgotten. maybe he was busy. After all, he is one of the pillars. but I have a bad feeling about it, I've been waiting for an hour now. I decided to wait a little longer and another hour passed. I started to worry, so I sent one of the crows to tell Ubayashki-sama the news that the water hashira had not arrived.

But while I was waiting for new orders, an unpleasant feeling spread within me. Should I have waited any longer? Was I too impatient? Was it too early to send a crow to master?

After a little more than 10 minutes of agonizing waiting, a crow came and sat on my shoulder to tell me what to do. I was instructed to go to the water estate and look for Tomioka-sama himself. The crow would show me the way, and so I followed the crow.

It wasn't far, but when I knocked on the door, there was no answer. I knocked louder, and still no answer. "HELLO? WATER HASHIRA-SAMA?!" I called as loudly as I could, still no answer.. should I go inside?

the crow from before flew over the fence of the house and started to scream the name of the missing person loudly. The crow came back over the fence, "Not here! look in the house!" croaked the crow, and so I made my way into the building.

I knocked on every door and searched in every room but Tomioka-sama was nowhere to be found and so I sent the crow to Obyashiki-sama again and when the crow came back I was told to tell the other kakushis who were waiting for Tomioka-sama's arrival on the way to the village that he had disappeared and that they were looking for him.

After I did that, I was supposed to meet up with some other kakushi and walk with them to a village where a few hours earlier some slayers had fought a demon to clean up and treat the injured and so the dream of meeting one of the pillars today was shattered but there is surely another chance to meet one, and of course I hope that the others find water hashira-sama.

Maybe I can still take him to the swordsmith village one day.
