NO ONE'S POV
Outside Mikha’s hospital room, her parents, grandparents, and her friends—Aiah, Colet, Gwen, and Jhoanna—waited in tense silence.
Worry was etched on every face simula ng sinugod dito si Mikha kanina, everyone holding their breath as they watched the door at nag hihintay lumabas ang doctor hoping for some good news.
Maya maya ay lumabas din naman agad ang doctor, he approached them as he was offering a reassuring smile.
"She’s stable." he began, and a visible wave of relief washed over them all.
"She's starting to regain her memories, which likely caused the collapse. However, I’d advise that none of you see her immediately when she wakes up. Let her have some space to process everything first. Too much at once could overwhelm her, possibly causing another severe headache if she's triggered by anything emotionally intense."
Everyone exchanged looks, especially Aiah, whose heart ached to be by Mikha’s side.
She wanted nothing more than to hold her, to tell her she was here and how she was sorry but she understood the need to wait.
"Pero Doc." Mikha’s mother spoke na medyo may pagalala, "kailan po namin siya puwedeng makita?"
"Let’s give her some time to rest. I’ll let you know as soon as I believe she’s ready to handle visitors.” the doctor assured them gently.
Nong makaalis ang Doctor, she approached Mikha's parents and keep saying her apology.
Aiah swallowed hard, feeling the guilt and anxiety tightening her chest as she looked at Mikha’s parents, trying to explain herself.
“I’m really sorry po, Ma’am, Sir… Hindi ko po sinasadya… Hindi po sa gusto kong—”
But Mikha’s mother gently interrupted her.
“It’s okay, Aiah.” she said and placing a comforting hand on Aiah’s shoulder.
“She deserves to know the truth. And more than that, she deserves to have you by her side, especially now.”
Binababa naman ni Aiah ang tingin and blinking back the tears threatening to fall.
Hearing those words eased a small part of the guilt she’d been carrying pero hindi n'ya pa rin mapigilan magalit sa sarili dahil sa nangyari.
She wanted to say something more, to explain, to apologize again, but all she could do was nod, grateful that Mikha’s parents seemed to understand.
Mikha’s father stepped closer.
"Anak, alam naming mahal mo ang anak namin. And we trust you. Just… be patient with her."

Nagising si Mikha, pero kahit gising na siya, hindi pa rin siya pinayagan ng doktor na makita ng kahit sino, para mabigyan siya ng oras para pag-isipan at iproseso ang lahat ng bumalik na alaala sa kanya.Secretly, Mikha felt a little relieved about the extra time alone, it gave her a chance to really sort through everything that had come flooding back.
But the more she remembered, the deeper the hurt and disappointment grew.
Thinking about everything that happened before the accident brought a dull ache to her chest, especially with her parents, Colet, Gwen, and most of all, Aiah.
Pagkapasok pa lang nila, sinalubong na niya sila ng malamig at matalim na tingin nito.
The air grew tense the moment they stepped in, regret evident on their faces.
