"Why'd you leave in a hurry?" Her dark eyebrows raise as she places her hands on my desk and leans over.

"Because I felt sick." I shrug, leaning back in my chair.

Her eyes narrow so I do the same in response. She tucks her tongue between her lip and teeth as she looks at me, almost trying to figure me out. "I think it's because you were turned on."

I choke on air and shake my head, patting my chest as I sit back up. "Excuse you?" Does this girl really know that?

Ada gently bites down on her bottom lip and lets out a soft laugh. "You were turned on." She repeats.

I shake my head, rubbing my fingers through my hair. "You wish." I tease.

"Yeah? The bulge in your pants last night said otherwise." She gives me a shit eating grin when she sees my face drop.

I draw in a deep breath and stare up at her, trying to find a response or some way to play it off but I struggle for a minute. "You looked like Mariah, Ada."

Her smirk drops and she stands up straight. "Thats what I thought. Mind your own business, little girl." I give her a playful smile.

Her green eyes wander as she thinks before she places her hands on her jean clad hips. "That means you're attracted to me." She retorts.

I look her over. Sure, she's pretty. But, no. Absolutely not. "No. It means you looked like my ex when you were dancing on Dax."

She scoffs. "You're afraid to admit it." She giggles, her confidence coming back. "You were attracted to your ex, no? So if I look like her, you're attracted to me."

I cock my head and think about it as she walks around my desk and stands beside me. "Whatever you want to say, Ms. Ford." I raise an eyebrow at her.

"Admit it." She pushes all of her weight onto her left hip, making her T-shirt fall lazily over her right one.

"I'd be lying." I pop my fingers one by one as she holds my eyes.

Her full lips pull up into a challenging smile. "Would you, though?"

I sigh and tilt my head. "Sure, Ada. You were attractive last night. Nothing is going to happen between us, though. Goodbye." I scoff.

"But... when I was Penny, y-"

"You were just Penny. Nothing would've ever happened that way either." I say in a stern voice, glaring at her.

She cocks her head and narrows her eyes, not moving. "Fine." She sulks. "Will you be there with Noah and Junia tonight?"

I pinch my eyebrows together. "Remind me why you're friends with my best friend and his girlfriend?"

She breathes in and looks around as if finding the answer. "I don't know, actually. Junia just texted me one day and we've been friends ever since. I think she said she went through your files."

My face drops and my breathing slows as I stare at her, bewildered. "What?"

"Oh, shit." She mumbles. "I'll see you later." She immediately walks out of my class with a smug look on her face.

"So, June. Is there anything you want to tell me?" I raise my eyebrows as I take a seat next to her at the round table.

"Did he-" she groans and throws her face in her hands. "It was just a scare. I'm not actually pregnant."
