Athena's POV

I walked home with this mysterious book in my hand. Hiccup? Who's hiccup? I swear I hard that name before... I think someone said his name once or something. I believe this Hiccup person is related to Stoick, or maybe Stoick knows this hiccup.

I got home, entering the normal, silent empty house. I was greeted with a dim lite house from the fireplace located in the centre of the house, the dining table behind the fireplace as chests, barrels and draws was on the one side of the house everything seemed normal. I walked past the fireplace and up the flight of stares. Soon reaching my room. One side of the room had studies, some of the human body and medical staff and some about plants and it's certain healing process or whatever. Above my desk and drawings was a shelf, with books, lots and lots of books. On the desk was a bunch of drawings, my drawings, some about the scenery, weapons, outfits idea, or profiles of people. Besides the table was my closet, and on the other side of the room was my bed. The bedroom isn't big, but it's home.

I'm the only one that lives here, but I'm ok with that. I headed off to my bad and sat down, soon looking at the book again. Hiccup....  Who is he? I'll ask the chief tomorrow.

I flipped through the pages, soon seeing a familiar cove... wait a minute.. that's in Berk! I felt somewhat excited and nervous. Maybe that's where this Hiccup is? But why in a cove?

I yawned soon laying down in my bed. I pulled the covers over me and closed my eyes. Letting sleep take over.

Third POV

Every adult gathered inside the great hall.

"Either we finish them or they'll finish us! It's the only way we'll be rid of them! We find the nest and destroy it. They'll look for another home! One more search before the ice sets in!" Stoick shouted, as he grabbed his Dagur and stabbed the map where the dragons nest is.

"Those ships never come back!" One Viking complained, earning mumbles of agreement.

"We are Vikings! It's an occupational hazard! Now who's with me?" Stoick said as everyone in the great hall stayed quiet. Stoick sighed soon standing up properly. "Alright. Those who stays will have to guard Berk and keep an eye out for Hiccup." As soon as Stoick said that everyone raised their hands. And with that they all left, leaving Stoick and Gobber alone.

Gobber stayed seated as he drank the rest of his drink. "Aight. I'll pack my undies?" Stoick only shook his head. "No, I need you to stay and train the young adults."

"Ah! Come on. What else can I do to train them? They had enough training, Arrow killed the Dragon for the final assessment. They seem to be ready to me." Gobber said, looking towards Stoick.

"You know what I mean. I can't have them at this war. Especially not after what happened to Hiccup." Stoick said, taking a seat on the other side of the table, his back towards Gobber.

"Ah! I see what this is... Stoick, you tried your best. And that's all that matters." Gobber tried to comfort his friends but Stoick shook his head. "I didn't try hard enough. Now look at what happened. It's all because of me." Gobber only sighed after hearing that.

"Look, you can't let what happened in the past affect you. But if it makes you feel better old friend. I'll have the young adults be on patrol around Berk." Stoick looked at Gobber.

"Thank you. The Dragon Monster apparently tried to break into my house on the last attack, and so we can't let that happen again." As soon as Stoick said that, it gained Gobbers attention.

"What? What do you mean?" Gobber questioned, as Stoick turned and looked at Gobber. "Arrow reported that, apparently, according to Athena, the Dragon Master tried to break into my house."

"Do you mean that's why the lass was being chased by the night fury and the Dragon master?" Gobber asked only to receive a nod from the chief. "Aye then. I'll have the young adults patrol Berk, mainly around the village then. I'll join them as well."

"That's all I ask Gobber. Whatever the dragon master is looking for, he can't get it. No matter what!"

Back to Athena

The sun rose up, shining light into Athena's eyes causing her to wake up. Athena yawned as she sat up onto the bed, stretching her arms before looking around.

She soon got up and started to fix herself up before grabbing the book, hiding it in her pocket, then heading outside. Athena strolled through the village, seeing many of the adults preparing for what looks like another search for the dragons nest.

As Athena walked she was soon met with Arrow. "Athena! There you are! Stoick wants to meet us in the great hall." Arrow took Athena's hand, soon walking towards the great hall. "Wait all of us?" Athena said, surprised by the suddenly notice. "Just us young adults, come on." Arrow dragged Athena to the great hall. Once inside Athena Saw Gobber and Stoick a standing in front of Fishlegs, Snotlout, Ruffbut and Tuffnut.

"Ah, glad you could join us lass." Gobber said as Arrow and Athena stood next to snotlout. "I gathered you all here because Berk needs someone to patrol the village while the rest of us is gone." Stoick spoke as Ruffbut and Tuffnut wined, Snotlout stood forward acting like his usual self. "Wait what? Why can't we join the war? We deserve to be out there!" You and Arrow rolled your eyes at Snotlouts behaviour.

"I know you want to come lad, but someone needs to protect Berk from You know who." Athena saw the others tense when Stoick said that. She know that they knew who they were talking about. "While I'm gone, Gobber will be here to supervise you lot." Some of the others whined a bit. "We will take care of things for you chief." Arrow said in a confident tone, Stoick nodded approval at Arrow. "Thank you Arrow. Remember you lot, Gobber is in charge until I get back. Now you lot better go and prepare, meet up with Gobber at the arena at night fall." Once Stoick spoke the others, and Gobber left the Great hall, you stayed behind as you saw Stoick leaving. Athena started to follow Stoick, deciding to ask the question,

"Uhm Stoick. I was wondering if you know who Hiccup Haddock is?" Stoick stopped dead in his track and turned to Athena surprised. "Where did you hear that name? Who told you?" Stoick voice face went to angry as his voice was cold and stern, it scared Athena a bit. But Athena couldn't tell Stoick about the book.

"Uh, I heard it from the others." Stoick calmed down, believing her lie. "Aye, it's best for you don't know lass." Stoick voice was a lot calmer as he turned and left. Leaving Athena alone, again, her question was unanswered, and she is left alone with more questions.

That was pointless Athena thought as she saw Stoick leaving the Great Hall. But thankfully, Athena had a feeling where she could find this Hiccup guy.
