*hours before that incident*
Stoick and the other Vikings had sailed back to Berk, their boat was broken and the sails was half gone. And it was clear that Stoick was mad.
Gobber had waited at the docks until the boat had stopped and Stoick came out of the broken ship. "Well I trust you found the nest at least?" Gobber asked as he walked next to the chief, "not even close" Stoick spoke annoyed and frustrated.
"Hm. Excellent" Gobber follows Stoick up the ramp and snags his duffel, sharing the burden.
"I hope you had a little more success than me." Stoick spoke as he and Gobber walked past some Vikings. "Well, if by success, you mean the Dragon master hasn't shown up once." Stoick stopped abruptly and looked at Gobber.
"Not once?" He asked Gobber a bit surprised and suspicious. "Yea, most afternoon and sometimes at night the young adults patrol the area, and they have reported back saying none of them had seen the Dragon Master" Gobber reported. Stoick seemed to be more and more suspicious.
"Has everyone reported?" Stoick asked as Gobber didn't look fully determined. "Well, Athena hasn't. She doesn't show up to report that much." Stoick seemed to be thinking. "Hiccup is always stubborn yet determined on many things. If he's looking for something important in my house then he would stop at nothing.." Stoick mumbled loud enough for Gobber to hear.
"And Athena always does the job when told. She never missed a day of training, not even once." Gobber said after. It only gave Stoick a few idea on what was going on.
"You don't think Hiccup is using the lass to try and break into your house do you?" Gobber asked as he looked at Stoick worried. "He could be. We have to find Athena. Tell the young adults to look out for Athena, she could be in trouble or worse....." Stoick said as he and Gobber walked off.

The cold wind blew through her hair. Still being afraid Athena kept her face hidden, holding on tightly to Hiccup, as if afraid to let go.
When Athena realised what she was doing, she slowly looked around, and let go of Hiccup as he flew Toothless. Looking around, she could see the night sky, stars was shining, there wasn't many clouds, it was so beautiful. She looked down and saw the beautiful village, seeing the house and torches lightening the streets, it was all so beautiful.
"Wow.. it's so beautiful." Athena complemented, feeling the wind through her hair. "I can't believe how amazing it is." Athena placed her hand on Hiccups shoulder.
"If only the others understand." Hiccup mumbled. suddenly Toothless ears suddenly stands on end. Panicked, he abruptly dives, dipping into the clouds cover. "Toothless! Not again." Hiccup said in a bit of a panic. "Again?! What's going on?" Athena said as she was starting to get concerned, but hiccup shushes her. As suddenly, out of the dense clouds, a monstrous nightmare emerges, carrying a dead animal in its large claws.
Hiccup ducks, soon pulling Athena down with him. The monstrous nightmare roars as the Zippleback appears on the other side of Toothless, closing him in.
"They are hauling in their kill." Hiccup whispers as the Zipplebacks eyed them ravenously.
Dragons start to emerge at the base of a massive volcano, glowing with lava. The huge flock of dragon fall into a funnel through the crack, zipping through the winding tunnel.
It gives way to a vast, steamy inner chamber, tiered with pocky shelves. Dragons of all breeds lay about, nested in hordes. The arriving dragons fly in, dropping the fish and other meat into the centre pit, glowing red and shrouded in mist. Athena was amazed.
"What Stoick wouldn't give to find this." Athena commented. Toothless peels away from the procession, landing on a small shadowy shelf to keep a low-profile.
Hiccup and Athena peek around, taking in the busy hive of sored. "Why aren't they eating any of it?" Athena questioned but was left on silent.
Then a Gronkle hovers over the pit and regurgitates a little fish. As it falls into the pit, a terrible roar rings out. The Gronkle tries to flee, but before it can, a Gigantic dragon head juts from the steamy pit and it snaps out out of the air. Swallowing the Gronkle whole.
Athena held on tighter to Hiccup in fear.
The Dragon sniffs the air, seemingly aware of them. It nears the ledge where Toothless is hiding, and roars. Several dragons takes flight in fear.
The dragon lunges at them, snatching a zippleback out of the air instead. Toothless disappears into the winged exodus as thousands of dragons flee the caldera in fear.
Later, Toothless flew back to berk and into the cove. "So, Toothless isn't the full Alpha, and that dragon is like a queen. They are the workers and she's the queen." Athena got off Toothless as Hiccup followed, soon grabbing her wrist and pulling her close.
"Listen, you cannot tell anyone. Not even Stoick. If they find out, they'll kill Toothless and any dragon." Hiccup spoke sternly as he looked toward Toothless, then back at her. "Promise me you won't tell anyone." Athena nodded her head at Hiccup "I promise."
Hiccup let go of Athena's wrist, soon stepping backwards and away from her. "Good." They stood in silence and Toothless went and got a drink. Athena then gave Hiccup a hug, which surprised him. "Thank you, for.. the flight." Athena had let go of Hiccup and turned and ran off back to the village, heading home.
Hiccup looked back at Toothless who gave him a look. "What are you looking at?" Toothless snorted and nudged Hiccup before walking off.
Some time later, Athena had gotten back home. Entering her house and was heading upstairs, but stopped as she noticed Arrow. "Ah! Arrow! Hi Arrow. Hello Arrow. Hi. Hi." Athena walked backwards until she had her back against the wall as she saw Arrow sharpening his axe. "I wanna know what's going on? The Book of dragons is gone just on the same day as you go missing. So let's talk." Arrow got up and walked towards Athena, he had a serious look on his face.
"What? Oh uh.. I-.. I don't know what you're talking about.. I've just been doing-" Athena tried to come up with a lie, but was interrupted as Arrow stood in front of her. "And I don't want to hear a lie from you. So Tell. The. Truth."
