As you and Mikha walked together towards the café, the sound of your footsteps was the only thing filling the air for a moment. Mikha seemed calm beside you, but the tension in your chest only grew the longer you walked. You had never been great at navigating these situations, and with everything that had happened earlier with Aiah, you couldn’t help but feel a little self-conscious.

"You know, your Girlfriend and I have a lunch earlier, you really do know about it right?" You started with a nervous tone.

Mikha broke your growing turmoil, "Yes? She said she's going to have a lunch with her Vice president," her voice soft yet curious. “So, how was lunch with Aiah?” she asked, her tone light, though her eyes were watching you closely.

For a moment, you panicked. Why was she asking me that? Does Aiah didn't tell her any story after our lunch together? You thought, suddenly worried that Mikha might be jealous or uncomfortable with you spending time with Aiah. You didn’t know why you thought that—Aiah and Mikha were in a relationship, and Mikha didn’t seem like the jealous type—but the words started spilling out of your mouth before you could stop them.

“Oh! It was fine! Really! Nothing serious, just... she wanted to talk and, uh, we had lunch and—” You babbled, the words tumbling out of your mouth in a rush, not really sure what you were trying to explain. “I didn’t think it would be a big deal, but I guess—uh, yeah, she’s nice, and we just had, you know, casual conversation. Nothing like... that,” you finished, immediately regretting the awkward way you said it. You could feel the heat creeping up your neck.

Mikha’s laughter cut through your rambling, soft but genuine, making you feel both relieved and embarrassed at the same time. “Relax, Y/N,” she said, her voice calm and reassuring. “It’s okay. I’m not jealous or anything.”

You blinked, not sure how to respond. “Oh, good! I just—I don’t know, I was rambling because I thought—well, you know—because of the whole lunch thing, and I didn’t want to make things weird—"

“I said, it’s fine,” Mikha interrupted with a warm smile. “Aiah’s been really excited about you lately, so... I’m glad you two are getting along.”

That made you pause for a moment, and you suddenly had a thought that caught you off guard. “By the way, why aren’t you and Aiah at the same school?” you asked, curiosity creeping into your voice. You had noticed that they didn’t attend the same university, and it had been on your mind for a while.

Mikha smiled as she responded, a hint of pride in her voice. “I’m studying at a different school to pursue some specific courses. Aiah and I wanted to go to school together, but she was already set on that university. So, we’re apart for now, but we make it work. You see, I can still go to your campus just to fetch you, perks of being the president's girlfriend.”

You nodded, understanding now, but you couldn’t help but notice the distant look in Mikha’s eyes as she spoke. There was something else there, something that seemed to click in her mind all of a sudden.

Her gaze shifted, almost like she was remembering something, and the brief silence between you two stretched out just a little too long.

“Aiah told me something recently…” Mikha muttered under her breath, as if she was talking to herself more than you. Then, with a small chuckle, she added, “She said she will be at lunch with—her vice president in the student council. And she’s always mentioning how the girl’s... hardworking and sweet. I didn’t think much of it at first, but now that Y/N mention about the lunch...”

Mikha’s voice trailed off as she glanced at you, her expression shifting as the realization hit her. Her eyes widened just slightly when she put the pieces together.
